Penny Lane (Continued)

Cyril twiddled his thumbs idly. "What a wuss."

Riza shrugged. A few minutes later a VTOL landed in front of them. A masked man steppe out and handed a briefcase to Riza. "Good work, now return and await further orders." The masked figure nodded and returned to te craft before flying away. Riza looked to the other two. "I got what I need. Anything else we are doing here?"

Ryuzaki slipped off.

Cyril wondered what Ryuzaki slipped off. "You really made us go to Earth for a package?"

Riza shrugged. "Yes"

Ryuzaki was nowhere in sight.

"Ugh. Where'd the human go?"

Rica shrugged. " do I care?"

Ryuzaki stood outside his parents' home in Surrey. He pulled out his key. "What? Why doesn't it fit? Hello," he asked, banging on the door.

A three tendril-bearded alien answered. "What?"

"But... what are you?"

"I. Am a homeowner. The one you're banging on."

"But... this is ny parents' home. I was just here last week."

"Look, kid. This has been my house for a century or so."

"What?"






Ryuzaki sighed, bewildered and overwhelmed, sitting on a street corner. He wandered into a bar and ordered, 'house pick'.
"What... is this?" The bartender, also alien--- a cactus, grunted something that sounded quite a bit like blasting gargles.

Cyril reached out with his senses and found Ryuzaki sitting at a bar. Cyril found his way to Ryuzaki who was staring into an odd drink. He sat next to him. "Don't drink too much of that." He advised.

Ryuzaki ruffled his nose. "I don't wish to drink soneone's gargleness." He sighed heavily, "My parents are dead, apparently."

Cyril brushed away the first of Ryuzaki's statement. He wasn't entirely sure what he was talking about. "Yep. You're dead too. I'm dead as well. Everyone died and everyone is alive and it's such a miracle."

Ryuzaki sighed, "But, a week ago, I was here. They were here! This used to be a law firm," he gestured around to the bar.

"More like a few centuries ago." Cyril corrected him. "And before that it was an inn. And before that an old widow's home. And before that a young newlywed's home. And before that a brothel. And after this it's a brothel again."

Ryuzaki knocked over his drink and watched in shock as the bar dissolved. The cactus tried to clean it, but burst into flames. "What, do you mean, centuries?"

"Time travel." Cyril said patiently. "It hasn't been a week Ry."

Ryuzaki sighed at the puddle of Vinvocci. "Who's the orange man and what do I have to do with this?"

"Watashi Artik, King of Vegeta and Solar Saiyan." Cyril took confetti from his pocket and threw it into the air. Some of it dissolved in the puddle. "No clue what you have to do with anything." Cyril sniffed, he didn't like not knowing what he was going into. All he could see was that Ryuzaki was intrinsically linked with a clusterfuck of events that was rapidly approaching. It kinda gave Cyril a headache.

He sighed, "Do bad things tend to happen on Christmas?"

"Yes. Terrible, godawful things."

Ryuzaki sighed again, slightly depressed, "Will I die? Err, on this adventure, I mean."

Cyril shrugged, "I dunno. Probably not. I mean, if you do you can always be brought back to life."

Mirajane...I mean uh...RIza went into the TARDIS.

"What do you mean, bring me back to life? Does that mean we can bring the or--- Artik, back?"

"Yeah we could, but he's not dead yet of course so it's possible we can prevent it."
