Artik, after his speech on Vegeta, went straight to Heaven to see how the re-Seraphization was going. "Cyril?"

Cyril popped out the ground in front of Artik wearing a lei and a straw hat, "Yes?"

Artik blinked at his attire. "Err... how's it going?"

Cyril ripped off his lei and did away with the straw hat hurriedly. "Brilliant. I am brilliant!" Cyril smiled without explaining.

Artik sighed, "Just show me around, Rush Limbaugh."

Cyril gladly led Artik to the nearest city, New Aven. "Alright then Artik, welcome to New Aven, the capital of Heaven!" He gestured broadly at the sprawling metropolis. Beautifully designed buildings stretched for miles and tall, white spires rose into the dark sky. Temples and cathedrals dotted the city scape side by side with skyscrapers and earthen buildings. The city burst with life.

Artik squinted at the cathedrals, "What exactly do you worship?"

"I'm firmly agnostic myself. Not towards any specific god, but I simply wouldn't be surprised if there was or was not an omnipotent being out there somewhere." Cyril answered, misunderstanding the question.

Artik pressed again, "What do your people worship? I mean, temples and cathedrals."

Cyril laughed at his mistake, "Oh! Well, temples and cathedrals here signify government buildings and entertainment facilities, it's all aesthetics." He gestured towards a particularly large and complex temple, "That's a mall."
"Seraphim really don't have a set religion, we encourage our children to follow whatever they please. Though," Cyril paused thoughtfully, "we do have a sort of common philosophical view. It's not a religion per say but it's pretty close. It's actually similar to Buddhism in a way. It fits with most positive religions and is an expansive way of thinking that encourages openness, tolerance, self-improvement and learning. It's commonly referred to Wixism, after the time period it was really created and set down in."

Artik nodded slowly. "So, is it time? Do you have enough people? You've got the wings."

"Er... sorry? What do you mean?"

Artik swept his arm across the cityscape, "For all of this to make sense, you've got to go back and take The Seraphim back here, a couple weeks ago."

"Oh right." Cyril said, much relieved. Many unsavory things had popped to mind when Artik asked that. "You know I really don't know," Cyril began, "I've hardly begun on a paradox machine and I would need to go find a supernova..." Cyril paused as he thought of all the things that needed to be prepared. "Though theoretically yes now is a good as time as any to get started on it."

Artik chuckled heartily. "Anything to keep the universe from breaking."

Cyril laughed nervously, "Yeah... don't suppose you've seen any supernovae around have you?"

Artik pointed at Cyril. "I mean, what?" He laughed nervously at fear of subspace and stuck his hands in his satchel.


Artik's arm, which was now in the TARDIS, tapped on Auron's shoulder, handing him a hastily scribbled note.
Auron ran to the Molecule Rearranger Room, and handed his father's arm a small, glass ball.

Artik provided from the satchel a glass ball. "Right here. It's been dimensionally... err, downsized."

Cyril took the glass ball and moved it around, carefully examining it. "Interesting." He tapped on the ball lightly and stared at it again for a minute. "I can use this, but I'll also need a white and red dwarf to maintain the paradox, not contained."

Artik thought for a moment. "You could just use a pulsar," he pointed out, "and I know where you can get those!"

"Excellent! Where?"

Artik pulled out a map. "On Earth, in a desert, lies a lonely little town. To the southwest, underground, is its Pulsar Development Lab."

Cyril looked surprised, "We have one of those? Well."  He looked a little proud of his little human subjects. "Let's just go give them a visit then."

Artik ITed away.
