A Hyperbolic Picnic

Rick shot a beam of ki at Emily. "Yeah. You too!" He grinned.

Emily let the beam hit her as she stood resolutely in her strong stance [-500 Health]. She looked as though she were meditating.

"Is she using bide?" Cyril wondered quietly aloud.

Ryuzaki blinked, "What, she's a Pokémon?!" Somewhwre in the world, Nappa squealled in happiness.
Rick then backed away slowly.

Emily rolled her eyes and launched a beam of ki twice as powerful as Ryuzaki's at him. [Ki Used: 1,000]. "There are no such things, idiot."

Rick smiled, "Oh really? I'm the idiot!" He clashed beams with her, sending twice as much as she.

"Yes." Emily confirmed, "You are." Emily braced her arms in front of her and took the attack, she was pushed back a few feet but she was still standing [-3,000 Health] She threw a light punch at Ryuzaki. [Stamina Used: 300]

Rick grabbed her arm, keeping it from hitting him.[St: 300] He then proceeded to sling her into the ground. [St: 1,700]

Emily wrenched herself from his grasp and remained standing [Speed Used: 1,700] Emily roundhouse kicked at Ryuzaki with tremendous force.[Stamina Used: 6,249]

Ryuzaki quickly thought of all possible ways to escape this. None were made. He passed out. Artik is out of usable Pokémon. Artik whited out!

Ryuzaki woke up, sparking with intensity. "I'm... not done yet," he panted. He grinned. He shot a dazzling beam of ki at Emily.

Cyril frowned. He had seen this happen before. Normally humans died after that last spark of defiance... he considered intervening.

Emily braced herself but in vain, Cyril jumped in between the two. "Stop. Stop!" Cyril brushed away the ki beam and immediately attended to Ryuzaki. "Alright slow down there, Rick! You'll knock yourself out at this rate." Cyril healed Ryuzaki quickly. Cyril wasn't actually sure if Rick could be healed at this point but it was worth a try.

Emily looked worried and rushed over, she hadn't mean to do such serious damage in a simple spar. "Are you okay?"

Ryuzaki blinked. He felt his strength returning. So, he punched Emily.

Cyril grabbed Ryuzaki and stopped the attack. "Okay, okay, stop. The spar is over. After that roundhouse there was no you could have won, Rick." Cyril healed Emily as well.

Emily, feeling much refreshed, bounced lightly on her toes. "What's next then?"

Rick blinked, "So why didn't I just pass out?"

"The indomitable human will!" Cyril proclaimed dramatically. "Only kidding, we're in the HBTC, so no one is going to die. In this visit anyway." Cyril shrugged to Emily's question. "I dunno. If you ask me it's about Cyril's nap time." Cyril yawned.

Rick blinked, "Err... You sleep?"

"I don't really need to, but it feels good."

Emily blinked, "You don't need to sleep?"

Rick blinked.

The Weeping Angels got everyone. There wasn't any affect though since they were in a time chamber and because they were all taken together, they were still next to each other.

Cyril yawned again. "You know, if we all survive this Emperor's invasion, you two should travel with me. I mean, if you can survive such a calamity I'm sure you can hold your own while travelling."

Rick scrunched his eyes at the statues. "What... What is... Eh, I'm sure it won't come up again." It probably didn't. Ryuzaki looked skeptical, "Will there. Be. Tea?"

"Yes there will be tea." Cyril assured him.

"I've always wanted to go travelling." Admitted Emily.

Rick nodded, "Me too."

Artik blinked, "Who the hell is the Emperor?"

Stan and Auron knocked him out.

"Thank you, boys." Cyril said lightly. "So Auron, how are you? Are you coping?"

Auron rolled his eyes, "As if he was around to begin with. And mother was a bit of a moron."

Emily sat back down at the picnic table.

Cyril shrugged. "And Vegeta?"

Auron shrugs, "Father is still ruling it. I just help you guys out and lead armies when it isn't temporally convenient for him to know about the stuff."
