Tomorrow Never Knows

"Just..." Auron said softly, "Know that I'll be watching. If things get bad... I'll have no choice. I'll have to order Project E. It will completely erase Riza from existance... but it will shut down the universe's fusion cells. The universe's technology will be effectively set back a thousand years." With this, Auron tugged a tassle on his sleeve and a man wearing white armor appeared and teleported himself, Auron and Sirius away.

Zero did something very dramatic. He put one foot on a large stone and pointed out into the stars, "IT'S TIME TO SET SAIL!"

Someone stopped Auron before he left. Leaving the two alone. It was someone who they had not seen for awhile. "Don't try it. Your device only works on things from this universe. You would only hurt yourselves. I also have something you need to see. Once you deal with this. Take Akira, Zero, the girl, and yourself to where you sense my energy. Leave the rest with Riza. He cannot come at any cost." With that said, Makoto disappeared without a trace.

Akira looked up in shock. Unlike the other rifts which were small tears, she stared at a great vortex in the sky, with a single figure standing underneath.

Maynin walked over and poked Akira. "So....where does this one lead?"

Auron sighed, "I really am not going to be able to help you guys. And someone needs to keep Sirius safe

Akira looked to the rest of the group. "All right. Let's go then."

THe figure saw them approaching and waved. They could all tell it was Riza but he was...differen't.

Maynin just looked happy that Riza wasn't mutilated. Yet, maybe.

Auron sighed and made sure to keep Sirius at arm's reach.

Zero eyed riza, but kept a look out for anything else.

Akira looked at the assembled group. "How do you think we should approach this?"

Maynin looked at Riza again before answering. "Well, us standing here and talking might look a bit suspicious, don't you think? He waved, so he might not be hostile right now."

Auron gestured to say that he agreed with Maynin.

Zero suggested they charge him.

Akira nodded. "Looks like we go for the diplomatic approach then." The two older girls then turned their gaze to Maynin." So..." Mumbled Amaterasu. "I think we should send you out first...." Akira coughed. "You are the least threatening out of all of us...."

Maynin pretended to be offended. "Really now? I thought I was terrifying! Rawr! See? Scary!" Smiling, she ran over to Riza. "Hey! You're not going to snap my neck if I hug you, right?"

Sirius sighed as he realized that the caffine must have set in already.

Auron sighed, "Is this typical," he asked Sirius.

Zero sat and watched as the events unfolded before his eyes.

Riza, who was clearly surprised by the question, softly spoke. "Do I...know you?" Now that Maynin was close she could see how drastically his physical appearence had changed. The most striking was that his skin was now white as now, revealing that his hair was actually a very slight grey. And his golden eyees now glowed intensely.

Akira frowned. "I thought something like this was the case...."

Maynin blinked. "Um....yeah, we know eachother......pretty well actually." She looked Riza up and down, still confused. "You're kidding, right? You don't remember us? Or me? And your pale....have you been on drugs or something?"

Sirius sighed again. "Jeez, Maynin. Can't you be mature about anything?"

Auron looked unmoved.

Zero was concerned about rizas appearance, "Is he sick?"

Riza looked at Maynin. "Wait....you clearly know me...does that mean I have been here before?"

Akira pulled Maynin back. "My name is Akira, I am sorry for my friend here. Would you mind telling us your name?"

"I...have had many....She called me Riza so...I guess that will do."

Maynin began to panic slightly at Akira's touch.

Sirius looked around.

Auron looked at Zero and mouthed the word 'Starbaby', and then winced.
