Tomorrow Never Knows

Maynin still didn't react. But she really, really wanted to make a joke on the inside.

Auron looked between the others.

Zero, blasted the ground underneath him and jumped out of the grange of her power, "You think this is some kind of game?! If i don't get some answers right now i'll blow your head off," he thought to himself, "well, something close to that."

Amaterasu growled. "So if what you are saying is true. Why kidnap him? Why not just kill him in his weakened state?"

Kiyohime shook her head. "I can't do that. He is too important. And that question tells me that you have no idea what he really is do you?"  She was met with silence. "Riza is a living weapon, and Kasmis' ultimate creation. And now I know what you are thinking. 'But he isn't the strongest!' Well he doesn't need to be. Riza's greatest power....is that he can change fate."

Akira's eyes widened. "That's impossible! The Chronologians proved that we couldn't change destiny!"

Zero was ignored

Maynin gave a slight smirk. "Then why not change his own fate?"

Auron decided to keep watching, discreetly playing with a tassle on his left sleeve.

Zero got upset he was ignored, "Hey!"

Kiyohime looked at Maynin. "Because he doesn't have one."

Akira managed to fight the pressure enough to get on her knees. "Liar! Everyone is born with a destiny!"

Kiyohime sighed and threw Akira back to the ground. "How much do I have to explain to you? YOu see there are certain rules that every creature must adhere to, whether they want to or not. But Riza, technically does not exist. Therefor he does not have to follow those rules. Get it?"

"Oh, I get it!" Maynin blinked. "Now when was the last time I said that?"

Auron sighed, "Is there a point here? Philosophical mumblewhosits."

Zero crossed his legs and floated in the air waiting for something to happen he could actually sink his teeth into.

Kiyphime's expression suddenly changed. "These rifts are the least of your problems. Something big is going on. A war is starting, between all of creation. Not just your multiverse. But all realities are beginning to clash./ ((FYI. The DB universe would be one reality...while say the Naruto universe would be another reality)) And Riza is the key to either winning, or stopping it. So you all have a few choices at hand. Ignore it and leave him to his own devices. Which is bad because you know the damage he can do, but imagine that magnified to affect all of existence. Two, you can kill him. Which is bad because the strongest among you wil probably not like that."

"No shit." Said Amaterasu.

"Option three. Find him. And decide who to help, or if to help anyone at all. Your choices, and his, will decide the fate of uncountable lives."

Akira's eyes narrowed. "And why help us? You don't exactly seem like a hero."

Kiyohime crossed her arms. "As Astro Boy over there said. This is a game. And one I don't intend to lose."

Maynin started feeling light-headed. "What about that woman? She was supposed to keep him calm, right?"

Auron looked off in the distance. "Riza will die no matter what happens, Amaterasu. That's rather clear. I can feel it."

Zero was still floating.

Amaterasu scoffed. "Thats step one. Step two is getting him to stay dead."

Akira thought for a moment. "He has an uncanny ability to always return no matter what. I have seen him torn to shreds. Blown up. Disintegrated. All sorts of stuff. Yet he always comes back."

Kiyohime tossed them a sheet of paper with co-ordinates on it. "Head here. The rift is already opening...just a warning though. While it may have been a year for you. It has been much longer for him. I look forward to seeing what you choose to do." With that she disappeared.

"....so what do we do?" Asked Akira.

Maynin shrugged. "He's your dad, your choice." She stood and picked Sirius up.

Sirius was shaking pretty hard, still scared.

Auron looked down at his sleeve's tassle. "You got all that, right?"

"Roger," a vaguely familiar voice came from the Roman child's arm. "About to deploy."

"Negative, Laetus. He'd tear us apart." He paused, "Literally. Just... I'll signal you if there's an opening." Auron floated towards Akira and her group. "Can any of you have your armies on standby? See what you can do, too, Zero. Tell them not to move in until they see an army of..." he picked up a few of Rick's possessions, "Romans, police officers and..." he looked very tired all of a sudden, "moon hippies." He shook his head in disgust, "I won't mobilize them unless it's absolutely hopeless. Unless you think we can overwhelm and detain him. Then we can strike all at once and try to fix him."

Zero nodded and sent a telepathic message to one of his sons that was currently on clockwork. "I should be able to muster up some clockwork and Glacian soldiers. But do we really need such a giant army, to many and they'll only get in the way."

"NO! No soldiers!" Yelled Akira. "All that would happen is we would steal their life forces, claim their souls, and then he would have his own army. You don't have to like him. You don't even have to respect him. But never underestimate him. We wouldn't even be having this talk if we all didn't know how dangerous he could be. We can only take the most powerful of fighters. Which would be us, and perhaps Zero's kids as well. We are the only ones that know what he is capable of...actually we don't even know that. During the time that he has been gone his powers could have weakened, or grown hundreds of times more powerful."

"Which is why Sirius won't be coming along." Maynin said firmly.

"No way! I-I don't care if I die! I'm just going to stay home and worry!" He protested. Half of him wanted to obey and leave but he ignored it regretfully.

Auron nodded ruefully at Akira. He turned to Sirius, "Have you ever been in a space police car?" He smiled, whispering, "I'll let you use the siren."

"I will not have my sons getting involved in this." Zero said.

Akira sighed. "Looks like it's time to head out then. Let's go.: The group then proceded to go to where the new rift was already waiting

Sirius gave the group a guilty look. "I guess I'd only hold you back, bye then." He walked over to Auron.

Maynin gave Sirius a kiss on the head. "Behave now, okay? I might be back, I might not. But keep having fun, alright?"
