Stuff

Riza and Sarah were standing around, waiting for Cyril in a forest by the western mountains.

Cyril ran by, looking panicked. He skidded to a stop when he realized he had run by Riza and Sarah. He ran back and grabbed Riza's shoulders looking quite panicked. "RIZA!" Cyril's voice cracked. "I MUST ASK YOU SOMETHING."

"Ummm..ok? What is it?"

A single tear dropped down form Cyril's eye. He looked like he really didn't want to ask. "Do..." Cyril tried desperately to stop himself, but the tune forced its way out of his mouth. "Do you wanna build a snowman? It doesn't have to be a snowman..."

"No."

Just then a solar eclipse darkened the sky leaving one spot light, then Zero slid in on the top of a piano, "Do you want to build a snow man, it doesn't have to be a snow man, we use to be best buddies but now were not, why won't you tell me why?" Zero got off the piano and walked over to Riza, " Do you want to build a snow man, or ride our bikes around the hall, it gets a little lonely, i've started talking to the pictures on the wall." Zero left them alone. the solar eclipse ended.

Cyril got control of himself. That damned song had been in his head all day. He cleared his throat and grabbed his coat. "Sorry."

Sarah looked at Cyril with a worried look on her face. "Cyril...I..I remembered something."

"Yes?" Cyril looked interested. Emily made her way into the forest, late.

Sarah wasn't exactly sure how to say this. "I...remember when you were born...."

A pang of fear struck. Cyril kept outwardly calm. "Really?"

Emily frowned.

Sarah nodded slowly. "I can't remember much. I remember your entering into reality and then I said something to someone...I-I.." Suddenly her eyes rolled back into her head and she collapsed.


Riza showed something he had never shown before. His face was overcome with worry. "Sarah!!"

Cyril caught her deftly and his hands glowed with golden ki. A look of concern crossed his face. "She ought to be fine...." He would have been hopeful, to have a companion as old as himself once more, but....

Riza took her from Cyril And helped her stand up. "I-Im fine" She said, holding her head in her hand. "It..It just hurts to try to remember things that don't come to me."

"There could be a good reason not to remember." Cyril said. "I've seen cases where people remember things they shouldn't and well... it isn't pretty."

Emily was just a little confused. She probably walked in at the wrong moment, she decided.

Amatersu appeared. "Sorry I'm late."

Sarah was completely fine again, her healing powers were incredible. "I want to remember though."

"People want to remember and then they get a side order of painful death." Cyril shrugged, "Proceed carefully is all I'm saying."

Emily waved at Amaterasu and put her hands in her pockets.

Amaterasu took the Vegetian Crown from Riza. "I will be taking this now, as the strongest Saiyan."

Riza sighed. "Fine." ((This is a actual shifting of power.))

Sarah nodded. "I think I can handle it. I have been experimenting with my healing abilities. As long as my head isn't chopped of, or I'm disintegrated, I will be fine."

Cyril rubbed his face, suddenly very tired. "Boy do I hope your more sane and peaceful than your father and grandfather." He didn't really look forward to having to deal with a damn Lunar Saiyan.

Emily cleared her throat, "So, the ruins?" She poked Cyril.

Amaterasu smiled. "I'm the child of a morally-unreadable hybrid monster, and a demon that was bred from birth to be a warrior. You tell me."

Sarah coughed. "So the ruins?"

Cyril snorted, he was a firm believer that one should be able to overcome one's moral environment to become a better person. "Yes, ruins. I've taken an interest lately in ancient Seraph history. We are an immensely old race, and much of our history has been lost to time." Cyril began walking into the forest, "One would think it'd be easy to keep track of it all with time travel, but travelling into a universe whose timeline has been destroyed is awfully hard. Nigh impossible once the universe has been gone as long as it has now. However... I've managed to find something."

Emily followed behind, listening raptly.

Amaterasu sighed. "It's a joke. No, I am fairly sane." She then walked with Cyril. "What would that be?"

Riza and Sarah were interested, they quickly caught up.

"Glad you're sane." Emily muttered to Amaterasu, Cyril mirrored the sentiment with a short nod before going on.

"Well, they aren't ruins in the traditional sense." Cyril explained slowly. "The ruins are in a place called by the Oneiroi The Fade. You see, their hive consciousness is achieved through this place- as is their knack for illusions. It is a pocket universe that mirrors ours perfectly except..." Cyril paused, looking around as if lost. "Hrm.. ah yes." Cyril took an abrupt left. "Well, more like a chain of pocket universes that used to be attached to the universe Heaven once resided in. And I SAY they mirror our universe perfectly but they don't." Cyril didn't say anything for awhile as if he had forgotten he was talking.
