Back in Shape

"Death?" Maynin echoed.

Riza suddenly had the bandaged sword out. "Try to kill my daughters and you and your race will not even be a memory."

Cyril rolled his eyes, "I was under the impression you weren't stupid, Riza. I meant they're going to fight again for first- not literally kill each other."

Maynin looked over at Mana. She wanted to see if she was okay, but was afraid of losing a hand or something.

Mana jumped up, slightly stronger from losing. "Are we killing people?! Sweet!"

Riza whapped her upside the head. "Stop doing that!"

Celes looked at her sister. "I don't want to fight you....you my sister." Amaterasu lowered her sword. "Celes..." Celes then proceeded to knee Amaterasu in the face, KOing her. "I WIN!"

Cyril grinned, "There you have it. Wow that was such bullshit. I sincerely hope she gets you when you're sleeping or something. So, what does our lucky contestant win, Riza?"

Maynin laughed at Mana. "Do you kill people often?"

Riza looked at Celes. "Name your prize."

Celes thought for a minute. "I know!" She pointed to Emily. "When I'm strong enough, teach me the Kaio-Ken!"

Mana nodded. "Blood feels nice."

Amaterasu got back up. "Son of a whore! Every god damn time!"

"Mmmmmmm, no." Emily said simply.

Cyril shrugged, "How about you ask something from the people who actually agreed to reward you?"

Celes sighed. "Fine.....ummm...." She looked at her father. "Teach me, Mana, and Ama, and that girl I blasted te monstrous shift."

Riza nodded. "Alright"

"The WHAT?!" Said Maynin, her head snapping up.

"My secret technique"

"Yup. No one knows about it. No one. It would be ridiculous to imply that someone knew about Monstrous Form, which doubles your power in whatever form you may be in." Cyril turned back to Emily.
"I'm interested in Endgame, Frustration, aaaannd... Machine Gun Punch?"

Emily thought for a moment. "Okay, I'll be wanting Pillars of Ki, Ki Sword, and... hmm. No. No, scratch Pillars of Ki and teach me Accuracy and After-Image."

Maynin put a hand to her head. "Is that smart, Riza?"

((Cyril I don't think you can teach techs to yourself. You have to teach them to someone else and your other people can learn it with them))

Riza shrugged. "She won, she claimed her prize."

((*heavy sigh* What if I don't other people to be taught these though? What am I suppose to do while you all learn? Is it not good enough I'm in a topic with other people? Why do you insist on keeping me down, the Man?))

Cyril and Emily paused for reasons unknown to them.

Maynin shrugged, "Okay then, it's not my choice." She turned to Mana. "So... what is it about blood that you like?" She asked again.

Riza interrupted the conversation. "Mana, stop. Your starting to act like me." Normally this would have been looked over but there was a sense of sadness in his words.

Cyril stared and Emily. "I think." he said at last. "I'm just going to do it anyway."

Emily stared at Cyril. "What?"

Maynin tipped her head to the side but kept quiet.

((Here, I'll make it even, you can teach those things to Cyril if Riza or Maynin learn them. In exchange ill teach Emily th monstrous shift on the condition she never teach it to Cyril or anyone else)

Mana looked confused. "Why don't I want to be like you?"

Riza was silent for a moment. After a minute he spoke again. "Man cries. His tears dry up an run out, so he becomes a demon. Reduced to a monster, he changes and perishes." Silence again. " I cant cry." after a silence that lasted once more e smiled. "Never mind that. Lets get to training."

"Nevermind, Emily. Perhaps another time." Cyril stared of into the distance, suddenly exhausted for no reason.

"Alright."

Maynin was confused because Riza was confusing.

Riza looked at Emily. "You want to join?"

Emily shrugged, "Sure. Thanks."

Cyril got curious about something and wandered off without saying good bye.
