Lost (ARTIK)

Haven walked around, wearing a dark cloak, she kept her face hidden as she was walking around the forest towards the city trying not to give off her aura to anyone out in space. she didn't have much energy right now. she was wondering where artik was though. she wanted to talk to him and she missed him.
"Should I stay or go? I am kinda lost..."

Artik appeared of nowhere, hoping that it all looked fine. He stared at his hands and shrugged, "Good enough," he decided silently. "Lost, huh," he said aloud, "I wonder who's lost," he was behind her in the shadows, "you or me?"

Haven jumped when he came out of the shadows. she turned around looking at him, keeping her head hidden in the cloak. looking at him, she wasn't sure what to say but sighed. "Me...I am lost. Artik...I am so happy to see you." She smiled. "I kinda don't know what to do...I am just hoping the council doesn't find out that I want to stay with you."

Artik's face contorted into guilt, "Stay with me? What," he repeat, "Stay with me?" He frowned deeply. "I'm sorry, Haven." He flickered a smile briefly. "What would you like to do today?"

"Yes you know, stay as in stay in one place and not travel around. its really lonely and lost out there...if I leave I will feel more lost than now. I don't know what to do." Haven lowered her head as tears started to swell in her eyes. her cloak hid her face. she saw the look on Artik's face and felt bad. "I'm sorry...what ever you want to do."

Artik kept his expression neutral as he closed the gap between he and Haven. He flipped the cloak back off her head and kissed her forehead, "Hey," he muttered, "No sadness. Not today. Not now."

Haven's face went red when he pulled her hood back. Haven was taken back when he kissed her forehead. nodding her head she dried her eyes. "I'm sorry. Being alone in space is no fun. I'm glad your here. What would you like to do then?" Haven asked, trying to put on a smile. she was trying to be happy, but all she could picture is being told she had to do.

Artik stepped back awkwardly and apologized. "Err. Sorry." He flailed his arms about uselessly. "Right," he clapped his hands together, "So! Dinner?"

HAven nodded her head, her dress could be considered formal. Seeing him flail like he did was cute to her eyes. she smiled at him, and giggled. "You were always so cute." she giggled. Taking his hand, she smiled at him she couldn't help it. "Still are. wht about dinner?"

It looked as if the orange drained from Artik's skin. "Err. Cute." He swallowed, "Right! Dinner," he pulled out a book and flipped through it, "dinner... hmm..." He threw the book into the shadows and shugged, "Denny's?" Artik and his friends went to Denny's more times than he could remember. It was natural that it was what first came to mind. He wrapped his arms around her waist as he teleported himself and Haven into a previously empty booth. "Here we are." He disentangled himself and sat down.

Haven blushed and looked at him not sure what to do. but she smiled when they arrived at the place. sitting at the table, it was strange. looking around she had never been in a place like this. she didn't read the language though, looking at the menu she was confused. "Um...I don't read earth yet...kinda last earth I read was egyptian and aztec and mayan. can you order me something..." She smiled, giving him a cute look.

Artik did his best to cignore the look and cleared his throat as the slightly bewildered waitress appeared. Artik decided quickly, "Two non-cliché alcoholic beverages and... I dunno." He stroked his chin, "A bacon Grandslam for the female."

The waitress stared at Artik for a few moments, shrugged, and skipped to the kitchen.

HAven looked at the waitress. it was weird, she never been in a place like this. watching the waitress skip away Haven took her cloak off and placed it on her lap. touching the menu, she opened it grazing her fingers along it. she didn't have the power like some guardian to translate rather easy. "Thank you." She smiled. "What have you been doing artik? how is your son?" Her mind was going in circles right now.

Artik shrugged, taking a sigh. "He's independant. Takes care of himself." He glanced at Haven, "Are you alright?"

Haven lied and nodded her head to his question. she didn't want to worry him with her fears and problems. "Artik...would you train me?" Haven asked. Her mind looked at him. "Also why independant...he is so young?"

Artik shrugged, "He's a Solar Saiyan. You know how we are." He took a long breath, "I'll... find some arrange so that you'll get trained, don't worry." Artik smiled sadly.

Seeeing the sadness on his face behind the smile, she knew him so long ago she still remembered some of the looks and the tones he gave about certain things. She was worried. Reaching out she touched his arm with a smile. "Will you train me. rather be with someone whom knows me..." She smiled. "Artik...now you are sad. what is wrong?"

Artik shook his head, "Yeah. No, I'm fine. Really." He grinned, "Seee?"

"See what?" Haven asked. "your lying I know you a bit. anyway see what?" she grinned, patting him on his arm. Looking at the drinks that came, she couldn't help but look at them. they looked and smelt funny. "what is this? looks like something from the north galaxy."

Artik shrugged, "I dunno." He tapped the glass, "Some sort of alcoholic beverage." He tasted it. "Hmm. Not bad."

Haven drank it and giggled looking at Artik. "So when do we start...also...Artik...I was wondering...if I stay here...can I stay with you?" Haven asked. her cheeks a little pink, she was trying to lay low.

Artik took a long sip. "I... can make accomodations." He blunked several times

"Artik..." Haven said thinking about it, pushing her question aside she quietly drank her drink. she didn't know what to say to artik. she was wondering if he was still hurt about her leaving him along time ago instead of telling him why. she felt bad now wishing that had never left. thinking that maybe she could have saved the saiyan race back then.

Artik thought about how he was covered in his alcohol, "Darn it all."
