This is getting bad, I'm starting to recognize your power signature.

Chaz, whom has seemingly drifted to the scene in such a stealthy manner, has revealed himself as he steps from behind a large rock.

I didn't have plans on seeing you for a while. What brings you out here, Artik?

The split second of silence didn't allow Artik to respond, Chaz seemed rather upset about the outcome of their last "adventure" spent together. Chaz slung a ball of ki at Artik in an effort to test the orange saiyan's guard.

Artik blinked as a Chaz-sized ball of ki hit him in the face. "Ow.."

Chaz's hand smacks his forehead as he clenches his eyes closed. His hand slowly sliding down his face as he becomes visibly frustrated.

You dunce. What are you, exactly? How are you still alive, Artik?

Chaz took a moment to stare Artik down, finding it hard to find a serious moment with such a goof. He was not going to waste anymore time with pre-war mind games. Artik had owed him this, anyways.

Chaz
You know, Artik. You owe me this battle anyways. You heroic types are ones to fulfill your promises, right?

Shooting forward as if he were loaded in a sling shot, Chaz wrenched back as he launched forth a punch. He had been looking forward to this for a long while, now. He may have even blamed Artik a bit for getting him to tag along on such a useless adventure before this confrontation.

Artik snarled and blocked the punch. "A real fight.." He chuckled darkly. "I can do that" He shot a ki beam right at Chaz.

Artik's unveiling of his deeper, more serious attitude almost costed Chaz the attention need to block the incoming ki shot as he slaps it away. He can't help but grin, somewhat pleased and comforted knowing that Artik can flip personalities when he needs to.

This is what we all hide, Artik. Deep down, there's a version of us that we're all afraid of. I can see that in you, too.

Placing both hands forward, Chaz shoots a couple more ki blasts to follow, all of them chasing each other as they ultimately close in on Artik.

Artik cracked his neck as he took the blasts before aiming a kick at Chaz's head. "After this, you consider training under me." He chuckled.

Chaz remained motionless, the kick landing square upside his head as he is knocked back a couple inches from the impact. Glancing at Artik through the corner of his eye, he could only smirk.

I highly doubt that. At least I know that you're a saiyan now, considering that you're over confident. You had me second guessing for a while.

Chaz says, floating away as he continues to taunt Artik. Laughing just loud enough to be audible.

Actually, I heard you registered in to be the King.

Chaz stares at Artik, eye too eye, his mesmerizing grin stretching upwards on his face once again.

Artik was angered, to say the least. He put all he could into this ki beam. "I AM THE KING OF SAIYANS!!" He poured all his ki into it and yelled, "ALL OR NOTHING!!"

It was exactly the opening Chaz was looking for. However, he didn't expect the force to be so great. Artik had collected all of his energy and put it into this one but it was all in vain as Chaz tapped into his racial trait, using Mind Lock. Artik's blast has disinigrated from the lack of willpower as he falls under Chaz's trap.

Artik, I know you're going to feel very funny right now... Your body is limp and now you can't defend yourself... Brute force can be impressive... when it's utilized right...

Chaz hovers over Artik as he lies, frozen. The struggle was intense as Chaz could feel Artik try to break free from the mental grip. Chaz extended his arms, his hands flat as he delivers a large blow to Artik's motionless body.

It was hard to view Artik with pity right now when he went to unleash such a devastating attack. Chaz glared at him while he began to regain control of his body, smiling as he playfully walks toward Artik, leaning over. Chaz was playing with fire at this point, a saiyan's temper can backfire, but it can also prove lethal.

I want to enjoy this, but I don't want to take my time... what do you think Artik?

A few moments, basking in his pre-mature victory, Chaz raised his hand. Not in an effort to attack, but to use an item. He popped the sensu bean into his mouth, restoring some of his stats. He began to already feel much better, his previous strength returning.

Let's finish this, Artik. I could kill you, but you've proven yourself worthy here today, even if you were a bit hasty. I'll spare you...

Chaz charged up another ki blast, the blast glowing brightly between him and Artik before he fired the shot.

Artik did something weird as fuck. He split the beam and managed to deflect some of it. He then sent up another powerball and went Oozarru, trying to stomp on Chaz.
