More training

"I'm just a bit afraid one of US is going to get shot." Cyril grinned.

Emily caught the rifle deftly. She instinctively brought it to her shoulder and fired off a round at El with impressive speed and accuracy.

El shifted her weight to one side and easily dodged the bullet. "Is that it?"

Emily fired off a few burst fire rounds at El and sped the bullets immensely with her ki.

El focused and time seemed to slow down. With lighting speed and precision she sliced all of the bullets, robbing them o their momentum an letting them fall harmlessly to the ground. "Your boring me."

"Not exactly a fun fest over here either." Emily muttered, not one to be baited. She decided to try something a bit different. Emily shot a ki blast right in front of El which made the sand shoot up in a small wave. Emily pretty much unloaded on El and sped up the bullets with more ki. Em hoped to shoot El by blinding/distracting her with sand. It was worth a shot. (Puns!)

Makoto watched with worry as one of the bullets pierced through Elucidia's abdomen. "Emily....why did you shoot her there of all places." He tuned to the Seraph. "You might want to get back Cyril...."


The demon touched the blood that seeped from the wound. She said nothing but her orange hair erupted into brilliant flames.

Cyril edged behind Makoto. "Well she did hand her a gun."

Emily nodded. She should've seen that coming.

Elucidia smiled. "Care to show me how you did that? I want you to do it again."

Fuck. Emily thought. Fuck fuck fuck. Emily raised her defenses and of course complied. She repeated the process.

Elucidia destroyed the bullets with a wall of hellfire. Suddenly she guested through the wall with twin blades in hand. Her wings were ablaze creating a wake of fire behind her. She spun and asked at Emily.

Makoto looked at Cyril. "This is why I am afraid of her."

Cyril watched in rapt attention.

Emily stood her ground. When El blew through the wall of fire and slashed at her, Emily, expecting something like that reaction, ducked down away from the attack and rose back to her feet with an uppercut aimed at El's chin.

El was ready. With a mouth full of razor sharp fangs she bit down upon Emily's hand. She threw Emily away with astonishing strength. The demon walked over and grabbed the second blade of Makoto's back. "I'm about to show you something special." El fused the two blades together. When the blades touched they began morphing into a sword of monstrous proportions. It was 12 feet long and three feet wide. "Try and block this."

Emily landed gracefully on her feet not too far away. Emily leaned her chin out cockily. "Put 'er right there." she taunted, unimpressed by El's gargantuan sword.

El grinned as the sword was consumed by flames. "I don't even have to touch you with it." Elucidia swung the sword and a tsunami of hellfire raced across the landscape toward Emily.

Emily rocketed up into the sky, above the wave of hellfire. Emily lowered her hands at El and loosed a large ki cannon at her.

El easily sliced it in half with the blade. "COME HERE!" El rocketed after her and swing the gigantic blade so fast it broke the sound barrier.

Emily stopped the move dead with her mind just before it reached her and she raced in between the sword and El and delivered a devastating kick.

El used the blade as leverage to swing out of the way. "Your a feisty little morsel." The blade began glowing gain. This time it split into four equal copies. The demon attached two to her wrists, and held two in her hands. "I am done with this!" El began swinging, blades swirling in and out like a tornado of steel.

And that was the day Emily broke her own personal records for speed. She wasn't even sure how the hell El managed to do what she did, but Emily refused to be close enough to find out. Emily kept on going once El moved out of the way, hit the ground, and grabbed her gun. Emily stumbled as she turned and fell to the ground shooting at the maelstrom of steel that was El. At this point Emily had all but given up on survival, and figured she'd go down looking pretty cool.

El moved in for the finishing blow as a blade swing in from every side.

Makoto stood and watched as someone caught all four blades.

"I leave for a little while and you all start playing with my things."

Cyril was impressed.

"Your thing?" Emily asked indignantly. "Hey, I'll shoot you too." Emily weakly waved her gun about in jest.
