More training

Makoto waited for the duo in the middle of a wasteland.

"I swear to god Emily, if you keep leaving those magazines in my ship!" Cyril growled as both he and Emily approached Makoto.

Emily laughed, "Oh come on, don't even pretend you don't have any!"

Makoto wasn't even going to ask. "So for today's training I brought someone else." Makoto motioned the the demon that was sitting on a rock. "Makoto said you guys needed some help."

"Hello Elucidia!" Cyril said cheerfully, hoping he had remembered her name correctly.

Emily waved, "Hi, I'm Emily." she offered her hand.

The Succubus glared at them with dark red eyes. "I'm not here for pleasantries. I am here to fight and that's all. If you want to sit around and talk then don't even bother wasting my time.

Cyril shrugged, used to the callousness of most of his associates. "Alright. Down to business then."

Emily frowned and took her hand back. "Which technique will you teach me first, Makoto?"

Makoto looked at Emily. "Before I teach you anything I need to see what your capable of. Play with El for a bit so I can see what you can do."

Elucidia unwrapped the bandaged greatsword strapped to her back. It was the second of Riza's twin blades, black as the darkest ebony with a blood red edge. "How experienced are you with weapons?"

Cyril watched patiently, a bit annoyed he wasn't currently strong enough to learn anything useful.

"I've never touched a sword in my life." Emily admitted. "I more used to modern weapons. Guns and missiles."

El gained a very sadistic looking smile. "Then this should be fun for me." She threw a sword into the ground in front of Emily.

Makoto stood next to Cyril. "I'm honestly not sure if Emily will survive."

"She's a tough girl." Cyril said confidently. "And a quick learner."

Emily cursed under her breath and picked up the sword. The weight was unfamiliar in her hands.
She would kill for a nice gun right about now.

Makoto shook his head. "El is.....unstable at the moment. At any moment she might switch from training to murder. This is also a test for her..."
Elucidia brought the giant blade down on top of Emily's head. She then pulled the sword from her waist and held it in a dagger stance and swiped.

((Your presence is requested on "The End....?" Topic.)) Cyril stared at the fight, not feeling comfortable knowing that at any moment El could kill Emily and he couldn't stop it.

Emily dodged that first attack, easily foreseeing that one. She backed away from the second sword swipe, still not at all comfortable with wielding a sword.

Elucidia twirled around and quickly brought the gigantic blade around at a 45° angle. The smaller blade suddenly morphed into a spear which she jabbed forward with.

Makoto also looked slightly worried. "People underestimate her. In terms if skill I don't think any of us match her."

Cyril shrugged, he had never seen her in action. "So would you step in if Emily was about to die?"

Emily jerked away from the first slash, but was completely taken off guard by the sudden spear. It cut her arm badly. Her mind raced with possibilities to get out of this, but it was probably hopeless. Why the hell would they put her up against someone when she had just explicitly stated she had no weapons training? Emily wondered.

Makoto watched the fight silently for a few moments. "I don't know. If it gets to that point...I guess we will find out then."

Elucidia studied Emily. "Is that all you are capable of doing? Standing around uselessly waiting to die?"

"That's comforting. I'm sure that 2 million zenni would pay for a nice funeral though." Cyril remarked.

"With a sword yes." Emily said bluntly. "I don't have magical innate sword abilities. I have literally never touched a sword before. Give me a gun and I'll gladly blow your brains out; drop your sword and punch me and I'll gladly attack you; but with a sword I'm useless. I'll probably drop the damn thing trying to block and then you'll run me through." Emily still kept her distance.

Elucidia turned one of her swords into an assault rifle and tossed it to her. "Prove it."

Makoto looked at Cyril. "This should be interesting."
