Relaxing

"I would have to be like...maybe quintillions since I was born."

Maynin nodded and was silent for awhile. "You know......I don't think I can do this anymore...."

"Yeah...... this is........."

"Hang on, what do you mean?"

"This is reallyawkward."

"That's not at all what I meant....but yeah, it really is." She said, forcing a smile.

"What did you mean then?"

"......pass. Disregard that."

"Come on....."

One again she gave up. "I'm not sure why I'm telling you, I hardly know you, but if you swear not to repeat this then I'll explain."

"I swear. And your telling me cause I'm a nice person and you like me." She added helpfully

She had to smile. "Alright, think of it like this. You've basically been through so much shit that you've learned not to care about anyone anymore. The one person that came closest to being your friend burns alive in front of you. The next person switches between saying he likes you and then saying he doesn't. That's Riza. It really is screwing with my head." She said casually.

Akira sighed. "I am not going to pretend to understand. I'm not like Sarah or Amaterasu. I'm not good with telling people how to feel good....but...do you think he likes you?"

She thought for a second. "I think he does." She looked at Akira. "A good person doesn't have to understand someone's problem, listening is just as good. You've proven that your a good person."

Akira looked down. "Mmhmmmm....."

"Either that, or your some kind of double crosser, I'd like to trust you though." She said with a shrug.

"I'm not...."

"Good then. Don't make me regret that."

Akira simply nodded

Maynin was starting to regret it already. "What's wrong?"

Akira didn't respond.

She lifted her chin. "Hey, what's wrong?"

Akira snapped back to reality. "Huh?" She blinked and remembered where she was.

"Woah, you just had a Sirius moment. What's wrong?"
