Maynin looked at Riza. "Think about it. You started getting angry after you told me I reminded you of your sister. I'm clearly not your sister, so that's no excuse."

"You mistake indifference for anger."

Mana, Sarah, and Akira strapped in as they started ascending

She shrugged. "Couldn't think of a word. So, are you going to tell me why?"

"Why what?"

"Stop. Being. So. Unreasonable! Why are you upset with me? It's not a hard question!"

"Why do you assume it's automatically about you?"

She took a deep breath. "Okay, maybe it's not then. Still, what's wrong?"

"Nothing you need to concern yourself with."

"I like you, it wouldn't be right to let this go without caring."

Silence.

"Riza, please, talk to me."

"There is nothing to talk about."

"I'm not blind yet, I know there is."

"Stop."

"If you will."

"I'm not doing anything."

"Your acting weird. I'll stop asking when you stop doing that."

Riza stabbed a woman. "Better?"

"You usually kill them."

Riza slit her throat

"That isn't the killing style I usually see you use." She said simply.

Riza brutally ripped a child apart with shadow tentacles

"Now you're only doing it so I'll stop. Since when do you listen to me?" She glared. "And really? A kid?"

"Does it matter? They are just going to die anyways."

"Yeah, but let them enjoy it while it lasts. If they want to end it at some point, they'll do it themselves."
