| The earth shook and rumbled as a space pod crashed into the ground. “You have arrived at your set destination.” The computer intoned. The door to the space pod hissed open but no one left, the door remained open and repeated its message, “You have arrived at your set destination,” the door wiggled as if trying to open itself again. Again there was no response and no one exited the space pod. “You have arrived at your set destination.” This time light snores emanated from the pod. “You have arrived at your set destination.” Mumbling escaped from the pod followed by a muffled yawn. Two feet stuck out from the pod and stretched. “You have arrived at your set destination.” “Alright, alright I’m getting out.” A voice mumbled sleepily. Cyril stepped out of the pod and into the sunlight. He stretched again; it had been a long trip and he had again turned down the deep sleep option and had fallen asleep himself. Cyril shook himself awake and rubbed his eyes. He turned a full circle taking in his surroundings. Cyril almost fell down a very steep incline. He had landed in a canyon, or rather on the edge of one. It was a windy day with not a cloud in the sky leaving the sun to bear down on him without any break. Cyril rose quickly into the air and overshot his desired height, he had gotten used to the stronger gravity on Vegeta and had to acclimate to the weaker gravitational pull. Cyril lowered himself a bit and looked around, looking for some sign to tell him exactly where he was on Earth. Nope. Nothing that rang any bells anyway. It was hard to see very well because the wind was blowing sand everywhere, but wait what was that? He saw a faint and small green figure making its way across the sandy canyon at a rapid pace. “What the hell is that?” Cyril flew down lower to try to get a better look at whatever it was. As he got closer Cyril could begin to make out features. It wasn’t much bigger than a 7 year old human and had a large green head with pointy ears. It looked very much like the traditional goblin. It turned around with a loud ‘skree’ to see Cyril following it and catching up. The goblin suddenly put on a burst of speed and changed directions rapidly to try and knock Cyril off its tail. Cyril was surprised by the sudden burst of speed and the loud ‘skree’ and the goblin thing managed to lose itself in the building sandstorm and outcropping of rocks. Cyril stopped, baffled. Why had it run away? It must have thought I was an enemy Cyril thought. But why would it have enemies? Cyril flew back into the sky to avoid the looming sandstorm and to try to get a better view of the area to find the goblin. Cyril scanned the area but the goblin thing was gone. He thought about the goblin and found that it was familiar race. He couldn’t remember any specifics but he knew he had seen something like that creature before. Cyril shook his head. He was forgetting something very important about this creature. Cyril frowned in thought. What was it? His eyes widened with realization, “Saibaman” he whispered. Cyril immediately flew back into the sandstorm and searched with renewed interest for the Saibaman. He couldn’t let that thing get into the population; it would begin killing and destroying indiscriminately the moment it arrived. Cyril searched for hours without results. His eyes were red from the sand buffeting his eyes and he was tired from fighting against the winds. Cyril flew up once more and looked about one more time. This time he saw the Saibaman out of the storm making its way to a nearby city. Cyril sped down towards it trying to be as stealthy as possible but the Saibaman noticed him whenever he was within yards and put on a burst of speed. “Oh no you don’t,” Cyril grimaced and went as fast as he could. Cyril let loose a burst of ki blasts and the Saibaman was knocked down and enveloped by ki and dust knocked up by the blast. Cyril caught up to it and looked down coldly at it “Sorry, I can’t let you get away.” Cyril put it out of it’s misery.

| Cyril coughed and covered his nose and mouth with his sleeve. The sandstorm still raged on and it soon buried the dead Saibaman underneath the shifting sands. Cyril tried to fly above the storm but something was holding him to the ground. Cyril frowned and tried again to lift into the air. Wait. Something was holding him down! Cyril jerked his leg up in panic and looked down. Green claws were trying to drag him down into the sand. He hurriedly threw a blast of ki down at the claws; they let go but he burned his legs in the process. He flew up just as a gang of Saibamen burst forth from the sand and let out loud screeches. Cyril flew up high as the Saibamen chased him, still screeching. Probably furious about the death of their comrade, and Cyril couldn’t blame them. He would be furious if one of his friends died at the hands of some stranger. In fact he was still very angry about the death of Christopher. But now wasn’t the time for thoughts of the past, now was the time to violently murder these Saibamen who dared to cross him. Cyril stopped in mid air and turned to face the Saibamen rushing directly at him. “Stop or your ashes will mingle with the hot sands of this desert!” Cyril thundered in his most intimidating and dramatic manner. Then Cyril was tackled to the ground by 5 furious Saibamen in his most intimidating and dramatic manner. The gang pummeled Cyril mercilessly until he struggled up flinging them off him. Cyril wasn’t very patient when it came to these matters and instead of making some smart remark he simply began barraging them with blasts of white ki. Dust exploded into the air and visibility became even poorer. Cyril kept his guard up as he wasn’t sure that that attack had been enough to kill them. Sure enough he heard a Saibaman coming at him from behind. Cyril’s fist glowed with white energy as he turned and decked the Saibaman who flew backwards a few yards, leaving his head behind. Yeah he was dead. Cyril jumped into the air and let loose a mass of Ki blasts into the area making positively sure the Saibamen were dead. Cyril looked down at the scene of the fight absently; he was trying to remember all he could about these creatures. He knew they came from some sort of seed and were inclined to grapple you and then explode. Cyril also knew they liked to say “Skree!” a lot. But, if the Saibamen did come from seeds, who had brought them here to Earth? He tried to remember what races Saibamen were associated with most. Just then a trail of smoke staining the blue sky distracted him. Cyril sped towards the trail of smoke and as he got closer he saw the cause of it. There was a farmhouse outside of a village in ruins and the surrounding buildings were on fire. Cyril landed in the midst of it and saw nearby the family who ran the farm in tears. Cyril rushed to save what he could by using his telekinesis to lift the sand and smother the flames. Cyril closed his eyes and concentrated as he moved livestock into a pen that wasn’t on fire, lifted the remains of any crops that could still be used out of harm’s way, and salvaged any farming equipment he could find with his mind. The local fire brigade put out any other fires Cyril had missed. Cyril approached the leader of the village “What happened here?” Cyril asked. “The Saibamen, they came from nowhere and attacked along with a gang of renegade Saiyans! We were defenseless,” the village elder shook his head in pity for his people and himself. “We can only pick up the pieces now.” “I can take care of them,” Cyril told the elder,“Do you know where they went?” “No,” the village elder said thoughtfully, “but I bet if you ask ol’ Dean over there he could tell you which way they went. That was his farm that was burned.” Cyril took his leave of the village elder and went back to the ruins of the farm. He took off his hat and approached the family whose farm had burned down. “I’m so sorry,” he said to the family quietly, ”I was too late.” The family stood and watched the smoke rise silently. The man finally looked to Cyril “It’s alright. I am thankful you were able to save what you could.” Cyril nodded and let a moment pass. “Did you see the people who did this?” “Yes, it was a band of Saiyans and their Saibaman. They raided the village and our farm then the Saibamen went that way,” the man pointed out towards the desert where Cyril had seen and killed the Saibamen, “And the Saiyans went out that way” he pointed in the opposite direction. “Well be assured the Saibamen are very much dead. The Saiyans will soon follow if they do not comply.” Cyril left the family and flew low towards the direction the Sayains went. He soon came across their campsite and he flew high out of site and hovered in the center of their camp. Cyril slammed down into their camp and let loose an explosion of Ki. The Saiyans were much weaker than him and were knocked away onto their backs. Cyril let his Ki flow from his body and whip around him in an aura of power. “Leave this planet and never return. If you do return you will never be able to leave again.” He said menacingly. Needless to say the Saiyans ran away with all due speed back to their home planet.

| Cyril watched the Saiyans flee to their space pods and blast off to their home planet, Vegeta. It was almost night now and Cyril had spent the entire day fighting both enemies and the unforgiving terrain. He was tired. Cyril rose into the cool air to gain his bearings. He was too far away from the safe house in West City to get there before dawn, even by flying. He could spend the night at the Saiyans campsite but didn’t fancy sleeping on the ground unprotected. Cyril decided to find lodgings at the village he had just saved. He flew towards the village to find a warm bed to sleep in. The village welcomed him with open arms and many thanks for taking care of the Saiyans which had been terrorizing towns and cities around here for months. He was brought to the local inn where he was provided dinner and a bed to stay in that night for free. Cyril ate and immediately retired to his bed; today had been a long day. He awoke just before sunrise and left the village without anyone noticing. Cyril made his way back to West City where he planned to relax and perhaps stop by Capsule Corps and buy a few things he needed. Unfortunately, it was not to be. When Cyril arrived at West City the streets were empty, no vendors were out selling their various wares, and no cars were on the streets. He walked through the middle of the road and looked all around, worried. Where had everyone gone? And for that matter didn’t City Hall used to be right there between those two buildings? Cyril frowned in thought. City Hall was gone and the streets were deserted. Why? “What the hell are you doing?!” hissed a voice. Cyril turned and saw a woman in the doorway of a restaurant. “Get in here, quickly now ‘fore it finds us!” The woman beckoned him in looking at the skies anxiously. Cyril walked quickly into the restaurant; he looked up at the skies trying to find what she was looking for. When he got close she pulled him in impatiently and closed the door. “What’s going on? Why is everyone hiding?” Cyril asked her as she locked several locks on the door. The woman turned around and looked at him incredulously, “Where have you been? How’d you miss something like that?” “I haven’t been where all the excitement is obviously.” Cyril muttered, “What did I miss?” The woman grabbed his arm and led him to a cellar door behind the buffet counter. She opened it and pushed him in, following behind and closing the door behind them. “An android has been let loose in the city!” she whispered as she led him deeper underground. “What’s so bad about that?” Androids were used all the time nowadays. Servants, companions, and some so advanced they were actually alive. “It’s a soldier android, but something must’ve gone haywire and now it’s attacking everyone and everything.” The earth shook above them and Cyril stopped. “Why hasn’t the army shut it off then?” “I don’t know!” The woman said slightly agitated. “All I know is that we have to stay out of sight, c’mon! A few more feet down and his sensors won’t be able to find us.” “I can stop this thing. Just stay down here, I’ll come get you when it’s destroyed.” “You’ll never make it! He’s too strong! Just please, stay down here and let the army handle it.” “Don’t worry, I can do this.” Cyril began walking back up but stopped and turned a bit. “My name is Cyril by the way, and yours?” “Sue. My name is Sue.” He smiled, “Don’t worry Sue; we’ll both make it out of this. Just go on down and don’t let him sense you.” Cyril exited the cellar and walked out of the restaurant and into the street. He rose into the air and looked all around making sure no one could sneak up on him. “Show yourself!” “Alright, but you won’t be seeing me very long.” A gruff voiced chuckled and a man walked out from the ruins of the City Hall. He wore a tall fur hat with a red ribbon insignia in the middle and the same insignia emblazoned on his heavy military jacket which was also trimmed with fur. Cyril recognized him as a Red Ribbon anarchist. “Aren’t you a bit hot in that? Its summer!” Cyril laughed “Be quiet!” This man’s voice carried no room for opposition. He was obviously used to giving orders and having them obeyed without question. “Why aren’t you hiding with everyone else?” His tone made it sound more like a demand than a question. “Didn’t feel like it.” Cyril said casually, “Should I be?” “Yes.” A blow landed on Cyril’s back and he was knocked onto the pavement. The pavement cracked underneath the force of his impact, but Cyril managed to get to his feet through the pain and find his assailant. It was the android. Since it was an army android its design made no attempt to look human other than the basic humanoid figure. It was painted with urban camouflage and had no face. The android saw with various sensors and thousands of micro cameras on its body; and right now it saw an opportunity. The android zoomed towards Cyril ready to pound him into the ground so it could go back to its senseless destruction. Cyril rolled to the side and the android landed on the ground and began punching at Cyril, but he was took quick the android and he dodged every move. Cyril grabbed one arm and threw the android behind him. Cyril speed towards it, his fists charged with ki and punched a hole through its abdomen. Cyril did it again and again until it could no longer possibly function. He stopped and looked around for the anarchist, panting. He was nowhere to be found. “That’s probably not good.” Cyril left the shell of the android and went to go get Sue.

| Cyril walked the streets of West City and made his way to the safe house. He unlocked the mottled door to the house and locked it behind him. He made his way to the chair and very carefully sat into his favorite chair at the safe house. He was extremely tired after weeks of nothing but training. Cyril got comfortable and leaned back. He drew a deep breath and tried to relax. Ever since his encounter with the Neo Red Ribbon anarchist and his android he had dedicated the past three weeks to training in the wilderness. As well as honing his skills in fighting he trained his survival skills on Earth. He had not seen civilization for those three weeks. After the battle both the anarchist and the android’s body had disappeared and Cyril feared another attack from them which was why he was training. If the army hadn’t regained control of the android while it was on the attack causing it to slow down and stop he would have never been able to destroy it. Of course no one else knew that the army had done that, but Cyril decided that if they weren’t saying anything about it he wouldn’t either. He prayed it was the army that had taken the android but he knew that they didn’t. They weren’t close enough to get it in the short amount of time he wasn’t looking. It was the anarchist. That anarchist had seemed like a capable man and he would no doubt remake the android, but this time the army wouldn’t be able to shut it down remotely. Cyril shoved these thoughts from his mind. He told himself that the army probably self destructed it or something. He settled down for a much needed nap. Sadly, this nap was not to be- someone was knocking on the door. Cyril groaned, “Come in at your own peril!” he growled. They did come in at their own peril. How rude. A military man stood at the door, a general, Cyril believed though he wasn’t entirely familiar with Earth’s ranking system. “What is it?” Cyril sighed. “You’re a hard man to find Cyril.” The general sat down and made himself at home. “I left a note on the door.” “You… what?” “A note. I taped it to the door.” Cyril said exasperatedly “... Well onto business. We know you destroyed our android and took it somewhere. We want it back.” “Well in my defense it wasn’t yours when I destroyed it.” Cyril yawned. He didn’t want to deal with these people. “But, wait. You don’t have the android?” Cyril asked with a sinking feeling in his stomach. “What? No we thought you had it?” The general looked alarmed. Cyril got up from his chair and began pacing. What he had been worrying about had just been confirmed and now they were all in danger. “Look, general-“Cyril began “I’m an admiral.” The admiral interjected but was quickly silenced by a wild look from Cyril. “Admiral, did you ever find the person who took control of the android?” “No.” The admiral seemed a bit embarrassed that this stranger knew more than the army. “It was a Red Ribbon anarchist. He took the android with him and no doubt he’ll return with it repaired, possibly even more powerful than before. You had best be prepared for anything because I’m not sure I can pick up your slack again” “Hey!” Again the admiral was silenced by a look from Cyril. “You had best get on it.” The admiral left looking thoroughly put in his place and Cyril went back to his chair and settled in. He would need all the rest he could get for the battle looming in the near future. He gave it a month before they came back. As it happens the battle was not in the near future. It took more than one month before he heard any sign of trouble. Cyril woke up. (Not that same day though. A month and a half has passed. Now mind you, he didn’t sleep for a month and a half, he had just happened to be taking a nap when we came back into the story. Now that that has been sorted out, back to the narrative.) Cyril woke up with an unusual craving for yogurt that simply HAD to be fulfilled. Cyril got up and cleaned up, and then he walked across the street to the yogurt shop. The streets were strangely empty and there were clothes just scattered about. Cyril didn’t notice. He walked into the yogurt shop, but nobody was there. “Hello?” Cyril looked around and noticed the scattered clothes. He briefly wondered why he wasn’t invited to the orgy before he heard something. Someone was breathing heavily; he could smell the fear in the air. Something terrible must have befallen this place. But what would take people straight from their clothes? “Hello? It’s okay now, whatever it was its long gone now.” Cyril called out to whoever was hiding. “You can trust me,” Cyril said when there was no answer, “I can help you, just come out.” A closet door opened slowly and a familiar face poked out. “C-Cyril?” she said, “Oh thank God!” Sue rushed out from the closet and hugged Cyril with relief. “You can stop it right?” “I have no idea what ‘it’ is.” Cyril looked distractedly over Sue’s shoulder. “Since when did this place acquire a closet in here?” “There are dead bodies everywhere and you’re worrying about a closet you’ve never noticed?” she asked incredulously. “Um, Sue” Cyril started, “There are no bodies.” “What do you mean of course there are bodies…” Sue looked around and saw only clothes. “What the hell? Where are they?!” “I don’t know. Any number of nasty things and one very nice thing could have done these. Imps, Drew, Nightcrawlers, etc etc” “What was the one very nice thing?” “Weeeelll it kinda depends on your definition on nice things.” “What do you mean?” “Are you familiar with the mythological creature Lamia? Something like that.” “Oh…oh my..” “Yes, but it’s doubtful any of them did this. Most don’t even inhabit this universe.” Cyril began pacing. “Let me think. What inhabit this area? Lamia, nightcrawlers…” Cyril shook his head “No, no what else? Who am I missing?” Cyril suddenly stopped and looked alarmed. “Missing. The android went missing.” Cyril looked incredulous. “No. That bastard made one.” “Made what Cyril? Who?” “The anarchist! He’s made a bio-android!” Cyril jerked his hat off and began running his fingers through his hair. “This is bad, very bad. I expected some sort of- of more advanced android, some bulked up cyberman- not this!” “But you can stop it right?” “I don’t know Sue. But I have to try. Just stay out of sight.” Cyril looked at Sue “No promises of safety this time. Make sure it doesn’t find you.” He left the shop without another word. Cyril stormed the streets, every time he saw a pile of clothes, a splatter of blood, he got angry. Cyril was furious, his ki was whipping around him as he stomped around the city. “Show yourself!” He shouted. “Come! It is time for you to atone for you sins!” Cyril was so upset he began cursing and shouting in his native language. An echoing laugh bounced off the buildings around him. “We’ve been looking for you Cyril.” Cyril wasted no time with theatrics. With unnatural speed he was in front of the anarchist who was only just walking out of the shadows and grabbed him by his throat, “Listen to me you pathetic swine, if you don’t call that thing off I will personally feed you to it and don’t you dare for a second doubt my ability to.” For a moment the anarchist lost his cool and a flash of fear passed over his face before he regained control. The anarchist sneered “You have no cha-“ Cyril whipped the anarchist around behind him as the bioandroid swooped in trying to drain Cyril. The bioandroid latched onto its creator and immediately started sucking him to death. It couldn’t let go and the anarchist died screaming. Cyril always kept his word. The bioandroid smiled savagely. “You do not know how much I have wanted to do that.” “Consider it a gift.” Cyril’s hand glowed with ki and he swung at the bioandroid’s head. Cyril had caught him off guard right in the middle of his sentence and it knocked him across the street and into a building. “How many have you killed?” Cyril whispered. The bioandroid got up and wiped the bood from his mouth. “How many have you killed” Cyril shouted again. He took off and zoomed across the street aiming another punch. The android ducked out of the way and punched Cyril in the jaw. “Three hundred forty-two.” It hissed reaching out to Cyril “Soon to be three hundred forty-three.” Cyril grabbed his forearm and pulled him closer. “No.” Cyril grabbed it’s head and violently ripped it off
