Perhaps locking in, beam to beam isn't the best solution to black incoming ki attack using your own ki. With this technique you can use a shield of ki block any oncoming attack.

Uses:

In combat, you can use this technique to nullify an in attack at the cost of the attack itself. You subtract the stats from your own ki.
