More training! (Maynin))

Maynin stopped punching, she rubbed her shoulders. They hurt, but that was good. "Ok then."

Riza hugged the both of them tightly. "In so proud of you two!"

Amaterasu coughed. "Dad...can't...breathe."

At first Maynin thought he was trying to kill her, then she realized he was hugging her. Surprisingly, she hugged him back.

Riza let them go and smiled a genuinely happy smile. "Good job."

"Thanks." Suddenly the ground became an interesting topic for Maynin. She looked down, not sure how to feel.

Riza noticed Maynin's reaction. "Something wrong?"

"Oh, no... it's just... it's been awhile." She said finally.

Riza blinked. "What do you mean?"

"Nothing, I stopped letting people touch me years ago, that includes hugs." She sighed. "You know how an abandoned animal acts? All 'don't come close and you'll be fine?' Yeah, that was me. I lived mostly alone remember?" She shook her head sadly. "The worst part is when they start treating you like an animal."

Riza nodded. "I can relate. For a time I shut out everyone. My friends, family. I even killed one who wouldn't give up on me. It just takes time and the right person to snap you out of it." He then smiled. "But hey, you have us now."

Amaterasu nodded. "As far as we are concerned your part of our family now!"

"Really?" She asked. She smiled a bit. "That's great, thank you."

Riza nodded. "In fact, I got you a gift."

Maynin smiled, "What is it?" She asked.

Riza pulled out a glowing katana. "I made this. It will help you channel your powers. I call it the Eye of the Storm." Riza handed it to her

The sword.

Maynin gasped. It was beautiful. She picked it up and held it tight. She didn't know what to say."Thank you Riza! Thank you so much!"

Riza grinned. "It's one of the five legendary blades."

Maynin turned it over, she lightly ran her finger over the sharp edge. "That's amazing, thank you. And you said there are five?"

Riza nodde as he pulled out the bandaged sword. "This is the God-Breaker. It's the brother of your sword. They contain incredible powers. Yours just hasn't been unlocked yet."

Maynin flinched as the sword drew blood. "Alright then, we can work on that. But will it really help me control myself?"

Riza nodded. "These blades are conduits." He motioned as the sword healed her cut.

Maynin smiled. "Well, that's useful." She stretched a bit, "So now what?"

Riza unveiled his blade. "We test it out!"

The God-Breaker

Maynin smiled, "okay, but I've never used a sword before. I mean, I've killed with one, but I don't really know how to use it."

Riza smiled. "Just try. These swords are powerful. Just use it an the knowledge will flow into you."

"Ok." She gripped the sword, took a breath, and swung at Riza.
