Riza shrugged. "So much hostility toward one who hasn't done anything. I merely took control. I have not subjugated any race or attacked anyone. Your hatred is severely misplaced."

Artik growled, "Oh, Riza. This has nothing to do with that! I. Don't. Like you," he bellowed. "You connive and trick and manipulate. You want to control because you like the feeling. You aren't even attempting to justify this, 'Oh, I'm protecting these planets.' Or, 'I just want what's best.' No! You say, 'Oh, I'm just greedy. And that boils my blood."

Riza smiled slightly. "I have no reason to justofy my ctions. i am nt doing anything wrong. And who is to say tht saying I'm just greedy isn't another manipulation? For all your years Artik you are so horribly bad at reading people."

Artik curled his lip, "I'm old enough to deserve senility."

Riza leaned back. "I'm not going to attack you, it would only be a waste of my energy. I can sit here and watch you flail and accomplish nothing. Besides, the Ravas need me to preside over a court case in an hour. Could you hurry up?"
