"Er... Cyril? Why exactly are we screaming the name of the technique at each other?" Emily asked.

Rick sighed. This was not his day. He Shouted again, this time he shot forward severals meters without meaning to, "What the hell?"

"Hold your horses Rick, this isn't universe 5ES!" Cyril laughed. "Well Emily, this technique requires you to shout out its name to work correctly. It's weird, granted, but that's just how it works. Watch." Cyril coughed. "Galick Gun!" and a pinkish beam of ki launched into the air. "See?"

Emily shrugged, "Alright then, if that's how it works..."

Rick said, "Gaaaaaaay," at the pink, phallic beam.

Cyril narrowed his eyes at Ryuzaki. "Galick gun." he said again. This time the beam rammed straight into Rick's gut.

Emily's eyes widened a bit and she shifted away from Rick a bit. You'd think he would know better than to be so casual and disrespectful during a training session.

It really wasn't Rick's day as he flew out into open space.

Cyril brought him back in via telekinesis. "Coincidentally nothing is wrong with being gay." he said as an after thought. "But, as I was saying. Now that we can say the words, let's practice doing the thing. Both of you do as I do." Cyril pulled his arms back and put his hands together. A ball of white ki flickered between them.

Emily copied Cyril as best she could. A ball of faint green ki flickered between her hands which were at her side.

Rick did that, but only light came out, "I am the lamp," he decided.

"Stop glowing and form a ball of ki Rick." Cyril rolled his eyes.

Emily maintained her ball of ki and idly wondered if she was missing her favorite show. Then she remembered that they weren't putting out a new episode tonight and got bitter.

Rick bitterly agreed about another show that would be on later tonight, except it was reruns also. No alcoholic grandfathers

"Alright, well, once you have your ball of ki you need to sprinkle it liberally with negative emotions. Rage. Anguish. Wounded pride. Bitterness at your favorite show not being on tonight," Cyril added bitterly. "Just throw it all into the ball of ki."

Emily scowled and began to think of how awful it was that her show wasn't on. How angry it made her. Also underlying anger and bitterness from her childhood. Her ball of ki wavered and expanded.

Rick thought his show, which was very funny, and his own ki built up in his hands, "Galick Gun," he shouted, and a small beam of ki flew out of his cupped hands.

"No, no!" Cyril said impatiently, "You went to early and then your beam was completely impotent!" Cyril examined Emily's quavering ki ball. "Make another ki ball, Rick, and don't let go of it until the ki ball is effected by your rage. Negative emotions generally turn your ki towards the red spectrum, thus the pinkish color of the Galick Gun."

Emily really concentrated and her teeth clenched with anger as she thought about the unjust death of someone close to her. Her ki ball turned pink-ish.

Rick channeled his frustration at today into his ki ball, and it also turned pink.

'Excellent, very good. Now, you shout Galick Gun." Cyril said.

Emily thrust out her hands to the sky and shouted, "GALICK GUN!" a pink beam shot into the void of space.

Rick did the opposite; he yelled, "Galick Gun," pointing to the ground. He flew upwards into the void of space.

Cyril him back with telekinesis. "Alright, settle down Rick." Cyril rubbed his hands together, "That was great Emily. Rick, you're golden (minus launching yourself into space.) I think you two got this down. That was... quick. But I expect no less from the best!" Cyril proclaimed with a touch of mentor-ly pride.
