A Little Bonding Time (Cyril/Artik/Makoto)

Artik winced slightly, which is a weaker motion that cowering, of course.

Cyril noticed that Artik winced. That was a weaker reaction than cowering. Interesting. "So essentially you have no idea?"

Makoto nodded. "Pretty much. I honestly dont care though. I am just happy that I am no longer being tormented. The fact that I get to see my son again is always nice as well."

Artik blinked, "Which one? Zilo, Riza, Mako, or..." he coughed, "or...eda. Oreda brand French fries."

"Well I'm glad you're alive and.." Cyril gestured expansively at Makoto as her searched for a delicate way to put this, "Not fucking insane."

Makoto smiled at Cyril. "Yep...I think I will kinda miss the exhilarating feeling that I got when I went on my rampages but I do feel that it is for the best."

Artik spouted, "HOWDY, NEIGHBOR."

"What?"

Makoto hit Artik upside the head. "Don't be an idiot Artik." Makoto looked between the three of them. "So...we have the final battle coming soon dont we?"

Artik blinked, "I thought it already... weren't we in the tower... where the hell?"


Artik and company were transported to subspace, the place characters go when their reality falls apart.

"Damnit Makoto."

Makoto sighed. "This is bullshit."

Artik floated about in Purgatory, "Well, it's not bad. But it isn't good..."

"I'm pretty neutral about it myself." Cyril reclined and casually observed his new surroundings.

Makoto found something to kill and then killed it.

Artik sighed and summoned the TARDIS. "We're done here, right? I'll take you two home."

Makoto nodded. "Yep...I feel like we are..."

"This is home, Artik." Cyril disappeared enigmatically.

Artik sighed and left Cyril and Makoto in Purgatory.

Makoto went with Artik anyway
