Relaxing

"Join my pack."

Seras started to cry a little. "My master is all I have. I'm afraid of him throwing me away."

"I've been in that pack. I left by choice. What good will it do me?"

"Don't worry, he likes you, remember? You kicked him twice and he just took it!"

"You left the others pack. You have never been in my pack. I only have a few set rules."

"B-but what if..."

"Shh. It's alright. Tell him."

"Let's hear it."

"Are you sure....?"


"1: I have final say. 2: just don't kill people I like."

"Yes."

Lykos thought for a second. "I'll join, but the others can't know. These days I'm not so sure if I can rely on my brother anymore. She stole his loyalty from me. Oh, and one more thing." He grinned. "I want to kill the kid first, then her."

Riza shrugged. "If you think you can do it then go ahead."


"If...if he rejects me....I won't want to live anymore..." She said quietly

"So you're giving me permission to kill Maynin? Just want to be clear."

Sirius wiped a tear off her face. "There are plenty of other things. But he won't reject you."

Seras smiled a little. "You think so?"

"I'm saying if you want to try go ahead. Nothing more than that."

"Yes."

"Then we have a deal. It's too bad Lycurgus probably won't join me, then you could consider her dead right now."

"Alright....." She said. "C-can you close your eye again?"

"I'll watch with interest."

"Of course."

Maynin came back with Lycurgus, laughing. Even the daedra seemed pretty happy.

Lykos nodded to her respectfully, growling quietly under his breath.

She changed back. "Ok..lets go back."

Sirius nodded.

Orion quickly told Maynin what had happened.

She sighed and shook her head, she didn't hate Lykos. "Let him do what he wants, I'll only fight if he attacks first. Don't give up yet."

Seras returned and blinked. She didn't know what was going on

Elpis saw her looking confused and told her.

Maynin leaned on Lycurgus. "Act like this never happened, he might come around." She knew that wouldn't happen. "Anyways! Riza, I'm ready to tell."

Riza opened one eye from his nap. "Hmm?"

She shrugged. "Alright, don't learn it."

"What?"

Maynin got down on both knees. "Do this."

Riza sighed and did so

"Alright, this is in no way an attack. Just close your eyes and calm yourself."

Riza, who was actually pretty calm right now, did so.

"You have to be totally relaxed. Block everything out and only listen to my voice."

"Alright."
