Amaterasu shoved a tiny star into Emily's heart. Needless to say it was mind bendingly painful

"I don't like it in this context," Emily managed to squeak out before going unconscious.

The rest waited for Emily to regain consciousness.

Emily woke up a few moments after. "Ouch."

"You ok?"

"Fine, just fine. Serious case of heartburn though," Emily touched the base of her throat and laughed at her joke. Again.

"Alright everyone! Try to access the star!"

"Tough crowd," Emily muttered. She felt around inside herself, mentally of course. "Found it," she announced.

"Now pull the energy from it."

The group activated the star's power

Emily pulled energy from the star. It was like one of those magic tricks, the energy just kept coming. "This is great!"

"Cool right?"

"Yeah, you'd think it's a red dwarf star!" Even Emily didn't laugh at her lame science joke.

Amaterasu whapped her upside the head. "Bad Emily."

"Yeeaah I know," Emily whimpered. "This is your fault you know, if I don't get my morning coffee I make bad jokes."

Amaterasu sighed. "I'll get you the coffee when this is over. Now teach us."

"Teach you bad jokes?" Emily asked, confused.

Amaterasu stayed all. "The tech sweetheart."

"Oh-ho, right." Emily needed her coffee, man. "We all have control of electricity here, right?" Emily looked between Rosentan and Amaterasu.

Riza and Elucidia were also present. "We all do.""

"Whoa, when did? Nevermind. Just reach in and let go, man." Emily said serenely as she turned into a little storm.
