Relaxing

Akira yawned and woke up.

"Sirius?" She walked over to the daedra. After telepathically speaking to one, she smacked it so hard a few of its teeth flew out. "Good for nothing mutt! You just let him?!"

"What's going on?" Asked Riza

"Apparently, the kid went to play 'in the cave'." She glared at the daedra, who was now drooling blood. "Care to show us the way Lassie?"

Riza punche her in the gut. "I don't support animal cruelty. But yes, lets go."

Maynin fell on her knees. "Ow. I'd say they're only half animal." She reached over and wiped the blood off the daedra' s jaws. "Sorry Curtis, where did he go?"

Curtis gave an awkward shrug, and sniffed the sand gingerly before running off with the rest of the pack, howling.

"What now?" Asked Riza

"Follow them." Maynin took off after them.

Riza didn't want to walk so he made his Seraph, Michael, carry him on his shoulders.

The pack stopped in front of a large hole in the ground. Curtis gave Maynin a smug look.

"Hmph." She patted his head. "Riza, let me see your hand, it'll be easier if we understand each other."

"I appreciate the sentiment but I'm married....and not a pedophile."

"That's not...never mind." She snatched his hand and set it on top of Curtis' s head. His eyes dilated and constricted before he looked at Riza.

"Hello, not-my-alpha."

"Yo."

"Alright! Quick introduction!" Said Maynin, who was getting impatient. She pointed to certain daedra, who acknowledged their names. "Sir Prize, Mrs Fortune, Curtis, Orion, Elpis, Lycurgus, Lykos and Nike. Let's go!" She flew down into the sinkhole.

Riza was carried towards the plot.

"Can't find his energy." Maynin said under her breath as she looked around. There was absolutely no light.

Lycurgus and Lykos walked on either side of Riza, moving in perfect sync. They could see as well as if was day in the dark.

Riza made fire to light the cave. Simple solutions for simple problems. "So....Mrs. Fortune....was there a Mr. Fortune?"

Mrs. Fortune looked at him. "Yes. And the one you ate was my son."

Lycurgus and Lykos stayed next to Riza for more reasons than one.

"Toby? Huh...Toby Fortune. Well take solace in the fact that he was a fine specimen. Very delicious. He also put up more fight than I expected."

Mrs. Fortune glared at him then gave Maynin a death stare. "And She killed Mr. Fortune.

Maynin was too busy looking for Sirius to notice.

Nike cheerfully bounded up to Riza. "Don't worry, she doesn't like anyone much."

"Should I eat her too?" He said as Michael carried him. "It would be quick. Just a snap of the neck."

Nike shook her head. "No! She's my mother!"

Orion batted playfully at Riza's foot. "Mine too!"

"......so I should eat you as well?"

Lycurgus and Lykos growled a warning at the same time.

Curtis and Elpis looked over.

"Look. I'm hungry and I want to eat something!"

Michael pulled a fresh sandwich out of his armor and gave it to Riza

"Yes! I can always count on you Michael!" He ate it happily
