Zero wondered around the planet of New Ravinex, he noticed the flowers blooming and the land whales were sleeping in pack of five scattered across here and there. As he walked to the main village of the planet he noticed there was a funeral happening over next to a statue that looked sort of like Riza, he ignored this for it gave no interest to him at the moment. Zero had left his two children on Clockwork by their selves and he was afraid of the trouble they might cause. They could start a giant fire in the boilers or even egg the halls of the Archimedes building. He walked along a path in the middle of the town until he saw a poster that read something about techniques for free. This poster, with its fancy writing and design, caught zero’s attention and he saw that at the bottom was an address for the place in which someone who was interested in this would go to receive their training. Zero looked around for a phone booth so that he could use the phone book to find out the name of the building he was looking for. He saw that over to the side next to a hot spring there was a sign that said “phone booth that way,” and pointed to the left. He walked over and found he booth. Once inside he opened the book and flipped through the pages skipping past a’s, b’, c’s and d’s until he found himself in the j’s. The address that corresponded was the address of “Jacks hot coffee shop.” Zero put down the book and walked over to Rava Street, once there he glanced at every building that was on the street. At the very end he saw a jack’s coffee shop. He walked over to the store and read the sign, “Free beverage with the purchase of a scone.” He strode into the building and walked over to the counter and purchased one of the scones and his free beverage. The scone was warm when he received it, fresh out of the oven the sign read hanging over the counter. Zero sipped his coffee, it was very bland so he added in some sugar to give it flavor and a spoon full of milk to add texture. He sipped down the rest of his coffee and finished the rest of his scone and sat down in one of the plush Rava chairs and looked over to see the television was turned over to one of the local comedy channels. The show depicted that of two men hitting each other repeatedly, this is comedy, Zero thought to himself. He got up after he tired of seeing the idiotic show and walked back over to the counter and asked the lady if she knew of any one who was teaching techniques to those with the passion to learn. The girl behind the counter looked around and then casually motioned for him to follow her. She lead him into the cold dissident back of the shop were only mold and asbestos grew on units that had been back here for the probably longer than the business had been in operation. She led him to a door that housed a school for the art of fighting and honing of techniques. The girl left zero as she heard the door open at the front. Zero knocked on the door and a man answered, “What do you want?”
“Umm, I came here to learn the move you advertised on this flier.” The man let zero in and taught him C-combo in a manner of minutes.
