The creation just went straight through te monster as it flickered again

Cyril flew down and began turning around ever so slowly, examining the air carefully. He stuck his tongue out. He closed one eye and stared at the rubble. "Does anyone else feel that?" Cyril licked a finger and stuck in the air. "I can't quite... hold whatever it is down. What IS that? It's like it isn't quite there but it totally is."

"Who would do that? Who is even capable of doing that?" Emily wondered.
