Artik knew it was time. Cyril finished his fight and recouperated enough. "Oi! Cyril!" He ran after him. "Wait up! I wanna talk!"

Cyril turned around, "Oh hey Artik! You caught me just before I went to travel to Vegeta!" Cyril smiled politely "What did you wanna talk about?"

Artik smiled. "Oh. I just wanted to talk." He nodded towards a path. "Let's walk."

"Alright," Cyril walked beside Artik

Artik smiled and decided to ask,"Cyril. What... how are you alive?"

Cyril looked down, a bit taken aback by the abruptness of the question. His jaw clenched and he stopped. "We didn't stand a chance," Cyril said quietly, "They got to us before we could gather and they kept us scattered," Cyril shook his head slowly. "They had all but destroyed the planet before the rest of the warriors arrived." He paused, "They were slaughtered." "We knew the battle was over but we couldn't let our race die out." Here Cyril's voice broke, "We had planned ahead for such events, a few of us were to take the children and scatter them, then lock them into a local form so they would not be found. The plan was for us to return and and unlock them when the Ix let their guard down and when we were powerful enough to defend them. We would keep the Seraphim alive that way." Cyril stopped for a moment to gather himself. "I know at least two of us have been killed. I don't know if they've found any of the children or even know about them. I don't dare return to them in case I reveal their positions." Cyril's face was anguished, "As to your question Artik. I am alive because I ran."

Artik gave Cyril a grim. smile. Cyril didn't ask for pity, so Artik wouldn't apologize. He did, however, say, "I'm sorry, Cyril, for pulling you into this. It's all my fault that you lost your powers. I will make it up to you." He sighed. "Somehow." Artik blinked. He had memories, faint ones, of Seraphim... But he couldn't see it.

Cyril nodded and thought for a moment. "Actually there are several ways you can help."
"First of tell me who that bastard who took our powers is."

"Cyrill, two 'l's," he said. "Ten years ago I landed on Earth. Ten years ago, that bastard turned )V(ajin Ken against me. Ten years ago, I died. Ten years ago, we killed his psychotic sister. Ten years ago, Makoto and Ken fought, and in the chaos, that bastard got away. Now he's got his brother. Now he's with his brother. Now he's at his Perfect Form. I shudder to think of it." Artik shuddered on cue.

"What does he plan to do, do you know?"

Artik grunted. "Before, rule Earth. Now... the universe." He sighed. "We're weak." He had an idea. "I heard you were looking for the Dragonballs." He asked the Briefs family to watch for any warriors asking about the radar.

"I aim to find them yes." Cyril scratched his head a bit embarrassed, "But I don't have enough money to buy the radar and I hardly have a chance without it." He gestured to the two space pods parked nearby "And those two took a hefty sum of change to purchase as well so I don't have a lot left."

Artik nodded. "On earth, you get two wishes. There isn't much Shenron can do to help, but... he can at least. weaken him." Artik threw a bag of zenni at Cyril "Thirteen-hundred Zs. For the cause."

Cyril caught the bag deftly. "Thank you" he said sincerely. "We'll make him regret the day he crossed us." Cyril snarled, showing a new darker side to himself. "Every day, every minute until we gather the balls we have to train, have to regain our powers. There is more than just this universe riding on our success."

Artik nodded. "Speaking of training...." he threw ki at Cyril.

Cyril jerked away from the unexpected attack and smiled savagely "You'll be quite the challenge Artik." He rushed towards Artik and aimed a two finger punch designed to knock him down towards his chest.

Cyril watched Artik grow into an Oozaru. "Oh." Cyril whispered, "That changes things."

Artikzuru roared and stomped around, aiming to crush Cyril.

Cyril leaped out of the way. He rolled across the ground and sprung up flying towards Artikzuru's face. Cyril aimed a kick at his eye.

Cyril flew behind him and tried to stay there, he was getting tired and he couldn't use ki because Artik would simply overwhelm him. He would have to rely on Artik's inability to control this form. Cyril charged a white ki blast in his hand and shot it at the inside of Artik's ear, attempting to stun him.
