Wave Four

Riza waited back in the throne room. Covered in a mixture of his own blood, and that of the Fallen.

Ryuzaki appeared, clothes tattered.

Cyril arrived, ki radiating off him in waves, looking not quite right. He didn't feel quite right anymore. Cyril looked around and Emily tackled him, "You're alive! But, I felt you die."

Cyril frowned, "Just be happy Raina has connections high up.'

Riza snarled at Cyril. "What was that about me not being able to handle it myself?"

Ryuzaki noted that he had complete faith in Riza.

"You weren't by yourself," Cyril retorted, "Who attacked New Ravinex?"

Riza blinked. He actually didn't remember. "I...don't know. All you need to know is that it is safe and that Sarah and El are recovering."

Rick coughed.

"What? What do you mean you don't remember?" Cyril suddenly looked concerned.

Emily looked to Rick, "Who did you fight?"

Riza shook his head. "I sorta lost myself back there. They killed a child and I.....Well let's just say that I became worse than you have ever seen me before."

"Err. Emperor," Rick told Emily.

"And apparently he's a Lunar Saiyan too." Cyril grumbled. "We almost killed him once we fused, but I get the feeling he could have destroyed us at any time by other means." Cyril looked around, "Do we know anyone who could be the Emperor's alternate self?"

Emily frowned, wait, why had she asked? Hadn't she been there? Emily frowned and tried to remember. Nothing.
Apparently she had just blocked the memory out.

Rick pointed out how Enily was forced to go to safety.

Riza shook his head. "No idea."

Raina appeared. "We have a problem."

"That's a bit of an understatement, Raina." Cyril grumbled.

"What do you mean?" Emily asked.

"Every planet except for Vegeta is being targeted now."

"Yaaay."

"What are going to do?" Cyril suddenly looked overwhelmed. He had managed to keep it together until now and things were getting waaay over their heads. "We can't defeat Yaori or the Emperor, and maybe not even the others. And what good would it do if we could? So many have died..." Cyril's voice broke. Cyril took a moment to compose himself again. "Do we have any last ditch ideas?"

"One..." Said Riza quietly. "We know where his flagship is."

"Where," Rick asked. Ryuzaki twirled into a vortex of cloth and emerged in a worn, leather duster, boots, and muddy trousers. "War clothes," he said.

"They'd detect us immediately," Cyril argued, "They'd have to! There's no way such a ship wouldn't be able to!"

"It's our only chance Cyril, and besides, didn't you tell me you've done something similar to this to the Ix?"

"Yes, and with Riza too."

"Then it's settled. We attack them. But for this to happen we have to sacrifice the rest."

Ryuzaki took a shaky breath. He clutched a newspaper sticking out of the side of his satchel. He steeled himself. "Right Let's do it."

"We wouldn't be able to save them anyway. Better a quick death and a revival later." Cyril muttered. "We're ready."

"Alright...." Riza said bitterly
