Riza stopped. "Look." He pointed at a couple. They looked exactly like Riza and Sarah.

Maynin was confused. "So... is this an alternete universe or something?"

Sarah appeared next to them. "No....this is the past..."

Maynin shook her head. "Don't talk to anyone. I don't want to make a bad mistake here."

They all died anyway...." Said Riza, suddenly gaining a new memory.

Maynin looked up at Riza. "What?"

"This whole race. They die. And no one remembers them..."

Maynin tilted her head. "The Tuffles? No wait, still remembered. Who?"

"Ch-chron-the chrono...." Riza suddenly passed out

Maynin looked down at Riza. She wished she had brought a marker of something to draw on his face with. She got down on her knees beside him. "Hey, up. Wake up." Maynin shook his arm.

Sarah slit he wrist with a small knife and dripped the blood into his mouth.

Maynin looked at Sarah. "Um, okay."

"My blood has special healing properties."

Riza slowly got up. "Remembering hurts."

"Ok then. Take it easy Riza, don't hurt yourself."

Riza looked at Sarah. "So your my wife. Or was."

Sarah froze and her face turned the brightest red. "W-what?!?"

Maynin was getting comfortable. She shifted slightly.

Riza sat up. "Yep. Didn't have any kids.....at least I don't remember any."

Sarah was blushing even more. "I-I..." She didn't know what to say.

"Well then..." Maynin pretended that there was something more interesting on the sidewalk.

Riza looked over at Maynin. "Happy you came along?"

Maynin grinned. "Yep. Now I can blackmail you. Elucidia would be so mad if I told her about this!"

Riza looked at her. "That over 68 universes ago I was married to someone else? That most likely is dead and we just have their memories? Solid plan There sweetheart."

Maynin blinked. "What did you call me?"

"What do you mean?"

"Don't call me things like that. Sweetheart and stuff."
