zero appeared on Nova Roma, a planet he had found many others for so that they may expand their territory. Zero didn’t exactly care though he just wanted the money for finding the planets. Zero was here now to visit an old friend. Zero walked up to the capital of Nova Roma and walked into the building and up to the front desk, “is Laetus in?” the woman pointed to a man sleeping in the corner of the front lobby. Zero sighed, he walked over to Laetus and slapped him, “Wake up, you stupid idiot.” Laetus awoke with a startled look on his face and then became angry at Zero.
“Zero you son of a… do you know how many planets you have found for us that were ether populated with deadly creatures or were inhabitable, you have been useless.” Zero blinked at Laetus he had no idea what he was talking about, then he remembered all the planets he had found or “discovered” for them.
“Oh yea, probably should have warned you about those. So how are things?” Zero asked.
“Well you know there’s this thing about expanding galaxies or whatnot. You?”
“Nothing much, actually I came here to ask if you wouldn’t mind showing me how to perform a move called Ki Battle Armor. “Zero looked at Laetus with really sad puppy dog eyes.
“Eh, sure I got nothing better to do, well there is that board meeting but I don’t want to go to that, their debating some kind of tie die clothing policy.” Zero and Laetus walked along a stone path that lead to a small battle field, “Know the KI battle Armor is basically just enveloping yourself in a giant suite of armor and this armor will let you double the next attacks for as long as you’re wearing it.” Laetus demonstrated this by enveloping himself in a giant suite of battle armor the armor was about eight feet tall with Laetus held in the middle of it. “You see, you surround yourself with Ki and then,” Laetus swung an attack at zero and the armor doubled the attack. Zero quickly dodged the attack just barely. As he moved out of the way he could feel the energy output from the attack. The energy that was released felt like the force of a giant cannon. Zero was almost blown back by the force of the attack. Laetus shot a beam of ki at Zero and the armor again doubled the output. Zero dodged the attack and this time the force of the beam was so strong that he really was knocked back. Laetus wouldn’t let up though, “hold up Laetus what are you doing?”
“Teaching you a lesson, you can’t just go around this place like you’re the main man because you found a few planets in fact all of the planets you found were infected. So I’m going to teach you a lesson.” Laetus swung at zero with the armor and zero had no choice but to take the hit for he was suspended in mid-air. Zero took the full force of the attack and blood started to gush from his noise from where Laetus had hit him. Then the Ki armor stopped, “crap, ha-ha, I don’t have full control over the ability just yet but I’m sure you’ll be able to handle it.’ Zero stood silently without talking, then zero enveloped himself in the Ki Battle Armor and then felt the madness overwhelm him. “HAHAHA, Laetus, its time I thought you a lesson, even if the planet is hostile every planet is hostile if you treat it the right way. So even if the planet is infected I’m one of your main partners in this planetary trade industry.” Zero summoned to his hands the power of an assassin and struck at Laetus. Zero shattered the earth beneath him and caused a small earthquake. Laetus was frozen with fear and cowered in fear of zero’s power. Then zero stopped and regained control of himself. “Huh, oh sorry Laetus I got a little over bored there.” Zero released the Ki Battle Armor and walked up to Laetus and helped him up from where he sat. “Well I thank you for teaching me how to use this move and for showing me the ways the suite works.
“You know this move was based off the warriors of olden days, A thousand years ago, the Mortal Realm was invaded by the evil of the Nether Realm. Talpa, the emperor of the evil Dynasty, set out to conquer the world. The humans, despite their efforts, could not stop him. Then, a lone warrior known as the Ancient One came forward. He defeated Talpa and banished his spirit back to the Nether Realm. Talpa's great armor was left behind in the Mortal world. The Ancient One knew that the armor was dangerous, as it was still infused with the Dynasty emperor's chaotic power. To prevent Talpa from returning to the Mortal Realm, the Ancient One divided it into nine separate suits of armor. Each of the nine armors were infused with a Confucian or Bushido virtue: Righteousness, Grace, Trust, Justice, Wisdom, Loyalty, Obedience, Piety, and Serenity. The armors were then locked away until they were needed to defend the Mortal Realm from the evil Dynasty. This Ki armor is the only one of the armors that could actually be controlled by mortals.”
Zero couldn’t believe what he had just heard, nine armors and this was the only one that could be controlled, Grim would probably get a kick out of this he likes mythology and olden times stuff. “Well once again thank you for the help I will certainly put this armor to good use.” Zero bid Laetus farewell and headed back to the main building. Once there zero used Instant transmition to teleport himself to another planet, zero new that this new ability would come in handy in the future, and the future wasn’t far away.
