Labyrinth

"Your actually the first person to beat me at this game, Mana. Good job." She gave a small laugh. "And nobody died!"

Riza pulled out a sword. "I can fix that!"

Maynin placed her hand on the wall. "This used to be some hero's tomb. Not only that, but it's the death place of a few other people." She shrugged.

Ross blinked. "I think I ate him."

"The hero? I don't know, but look at this." She formed a ball of ki and lit up the wall she was leaning on. Words in some strange language were covering it.

Rita yawned. "Alright?"

She shrugged. "I don't know what it is, I thought you might." She began making the ki blast flash violently. "STROBE LIGHT!!"

Riza bil led a began reading. "Ooohhh."

"Can you read it?" She asked. She stopped making the ki flash.

Diaz nodded. "Yep."

"Well?" Maynin was curious of what the familiar but unknown writing was.

"Why should I tell you?"

"Oh come on! Don't be like that!" Exclaimed Maynin. She shook her head. "Oh well, I've just known it was here for as long as I can remember, and it bothers me not knowing what it is."

Riza pointed to part of the wall. "It says right here. 'Don't tell any of this to Maynin."

She sighed. "You can't be serious, this place is older than me. By thousands of years!"

Amaterasu growled. "Stop lying!"

Riza looked at them. "Can you read it? Huh? can you?"

Maynin decided to leave it alone. "Hey! It's no big deal. I was just curious, but Riza? If it's really somthing important, then you don't have to listen to a wall."

Riza shrugged. "It's just stuff about an extremely powerful artifact."

"Ok then." She hid a smug grin. "Now what, there's nothing left to do here."

Riza his the item in his cloak when no one was looking.

Mana hugged her new pet.

Maynin looked as if she had just remembered somthing. She started to paw blindly through the dirt.

Riza looked t her. "Use your mutation o create a claw. Makes digging easier."

"Ok." She imagined having a clawed hand, no wait...She was using her claws because it was always there. Satisfied, she continued digging. After a few minutes she dug up a silver chain and shackle.

Riza clapped. "Took you minutes liger than I would have."

Mana looked over. "Dad? Are you angry!"

"No! I'm not angry! Be quiet!"

Maynin broke the chain and stuck it in her pocket. Then she slid the shackle over her own wrist. "Well I wasn't entirely sure if it was still here. I think I forgot about it when... um... that one kid died."
