Cyril felt a small pang of loss for his son's death. Then he felt a swelling of pride in his new son's strength. "There can be only one." Cyril whispered proudly.

Makoto suddenly felt hungry. He ripped off his doppelgänger's arm and started biting into it with razor sharp teeth. Makoto's eyes became slots as he fed.

Cyril watched in glee as his son and daughter-in-law-sort-of ate his son. "This is pretty fucked up." said Cyril's sanity quietly. "Nonsense, you're feeding your son!" said something that definitely wasn't sane. "He's not my son!" the sanity replied. "YOU'RE not my son!" the not-sanity yelled angrily.
