Makoto grabbed her leg and laughed. "You've got a lot of potential. I like you." He then proceeded to headbutt her with blinding speed

Emily had enough time to feel a flash of pride before being knocked to the ground unconscious.

Cyril looked fairly satisfied with his trainees fight. "So, what do you think of them?" he asked. He valued Makoto's opinions on matters of melee.

Makoto rubbed the back of his head. "Their technique is impressive. They seem pretty well learned for ones so young. The problem is still their lack of raw power. I do see much potential in the girl...Emily right? I'm intrested to see how she progresses. Ryuzaki....ehhh...he's okay....I guess."

Cyril nodded. "I abduct- er. Took them to the Silver Palace for training a bit ago. Taught them some basic techniques. Emily has a background in fighting. Grew up during one of the revolutions on Uberia. I have very high hopes for her." Cyril agreed with Makoto. "Ryuzaki needs a bit of... refinement. But he can be great. Maybe with some discipline. And the power will come to them with time, hopefully." Cyril absently scanned the broken tavern. "And what about that Changeling, Zero?"

Makoto suddenly turned serious. "I think he might be a problem. His power is growing extremely fast. And I don't know enough about him to know if he is good, evil, or in the middle so until then he is classified as a potential threat." The seriousness quickly went away. " so can I train with you his for awhile? I could use some new techs. I have been slacking off. Plus I'm making one myself. If you help me with it I would be glad to teach it to you when it's done."

Cyril nodded, "Sure thing." Cyril smiled, "It's been too long since I've worked with someone as strong as you." Cyril drummed his fingers absently. "So would you like to go ahead and begin here, or somewhere else?"

Makoto shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me. But shouldn't we do something about those two? I think I may have given Emily a concussion with that last one."

"We'll meet on a planet of you choice after we leave here." Cyril felt a bit bad for forgetting about the two. He got up from his seat and picked up Emily. She glowed briefly as he healed her completely. He picked up Rick too and healed him as well. "Well done you two, well done!" Cyril congratulated the two and sat them both down to catch their breath.

Emily was tired but felt very pleased at her 15 second 'victory' over Rick.

"How about heave-....oh right....lets just go to Uberia." Makoto knocked out Ryuzaki again. "It's for the best."

Rick had just enough time to say, "The hell, man?!" Before fainting.

Emily stepped out of Makoto's reach.

Cyril stood. "Uberia it is. Emily and Ryuzaki need some down time, so we'll leave them behind." Cyril paused. Emily was transported somewhere else by his ship. "Continuity issues." explained Cyril. "But anyway, wait for me in Uberia Makoto and we'll get started." Cyril disappeared, but not before leaving a note for Rick explaining what had happened.
