Just before the HBTC picnic, Emily had been wandering around Earth. She was musing on how things had changed. She had left her home on Uberia to life a life of wonder and peace, and instead found herself tangled up in a group of super-powered protectors of the universe. Emily idly kicked a rock as she walked along. She supposed she had gotten what she wanted in the end though. Wonder. Adventure. What she was doing definitely constituted as wonderful and adventurous. Emily was vaguely worried though. She hadn’t planned on anything like this. Emily figured she was explore Heaven for a few months and build her way up financially until she could afford to travel to a new planet. Maybe Planet Glacian, but now she had attached herself to this Cyril fellow just like that. It was strange, but she felt like she could trust him. Already he had risked his life to save her. Surely it was worth sticking it out until things were right again, until the war is over and they can really learn about each other. Emily felt that she had found a pair of great travelling partners in Ryuzaki and Cyril.
