| I used to play a game called Eden Eternal and occasionally the Game Moderators would gather in the main city of the game and do outrageous things only GMs could do. They would hold almost weekly events such as races, hide and seek, treasure hunts, etc. It was one of the few things that kept me going through the repetitive battles and uninspired story line. I thought that perhaps Shattered Hope could hold annual events or random events other than random discounts on shops and resets on the HBTC, and something more light-hearted than sagas. Here are a few ideas:
- God Killing Events: Take a character with insane amounts of pl, plop them down in some major city, and call all heroes to attack. If you are defeated you don't die, but are instead kicked from the topic. Last one standing gets a huge bonus and others get the regular amount of pl.
- Top Dog Takedown: Similar to the God Killing Event, but with a more definite ending. Take the strongest player in game, take away his or her ability to flee, and call all heroes to attack. If you are defeated you don't die, same as above. The one to land the killing blow on him or her gets a huge bonus in gains. If the "Top Dog" manages to survive and defeat everyone, he or she gets the bonus.
- Flash From the Past: A huge collection of previous Big Baddies have gotten together and are wreaking havoc all across the universe. Good luck....
- Free For All: A planet is sanctioned a lethal free for all for a set amount of time. All topics are now open to the public and any one can die.
- Sudden Death: A variation of Free For All in which on a certain planet any attack that lands instantly kills. For every person in the Sudden Death topic, a multiplier is added to the winner's gains.
- Lethal Tournaments: You know what this is. An organized tournament in which people die.
- Non-lethal Tournaments: A non-lethal tournament. Duh?
I plan on adding a few more. But, thoughts?
