{'13 Halloween Saga} Battlefield

The suns are setting on Heaven. Rivers are running red, mountains are trembling, and even the vicious night wolves cower. Heaven has turned into Hell and a war is on. Demons are spawning from locations all over and have taken the occupants of Heaven by surprise, but the warriors fight back. In vain, this narrator is afraid, for their conscripts seem endless. Cyril has sent a distress signal to all over the universe, let us hope our heroes answer the call.

Artik woke up when the chanting of demons started. He cursed the hellish beings for waking him from his dreams when he realized the terror of the situation. "Oh, damn. Cyril! Shit's happening again!"

Makoto appeared with Ryuga. "So we gonna kill stuff or what?"

Ryuga appeared by his father's side. "What the literal hell is going on cyril." he asked.

Cyril was inside a medical tent, only half conscious. "Let them in," he croaked to the Seraph standing guard outside.

Artik looked at the Semi-conscious Cyril and began throwing Rick Astley Dust and Senzu Beans. "CYRIL. OH MY GOODNESS. FEEL BETTER." Artik threw Ryuga at him "AAAAHHHHH."

Makoto grabbed Artik and also threw him at Cyril.

Ryuga was attacked by a wild artik. "God dammit what is wrong with you guys."

Cyril choked and spluttered and the dust and sensu beans. Cyril stopped the incoming Artik and Ryuga with telekinesis and got up from his bed. "What the hell guys?! Just... ugh." Cyril squinted at them all for a moment. "Well, it appears some old natives of some sort are invading Heaven in the guise of Demons. That's literally all I know, that and that they seem to have an infinite army. Or at least, they can reproduce and reach maturity faster than they die."

"Like people from New Jersey," Artik shuddered.

Makoto sighed and looked between them. "This doesn't seem very fun...I mean this is like the fourth time this has happened. You think they would come up with something more original than demons on halloween-time."

"Who cares what guise they use, they will die like the rest." Ryuga said putting his hands in his pockets.

Cyril looked at Makoto, irritated. "People are dying and you're talking about originality?" Cyril left the tent and put on his coat. "Come on, we're heading to the battlefield to give you guys a better look." He gave instructions to a Seraph to take anyone who arrived late to the battlefield.

Artik muttered something about 'pulling the black water mist out next year' in a sarcastic tone. He followed Cyrodil.

Makoto looked at Cyril. "people are always dying Cyril. And I'm just saying, they could have put some more effort into their invasion." Makoto suddenly remembered to go get Riza and Rosentan. "Be back in a moment."

Ryuga followed the seraph walking to the battle field.

Soon the group found themselves at a hill where medics hurried to a fro with seriously wounded soldiers. Cyril led them up the hill where they would see the armies of Heaven. Seraph warriors occupied valuable high ground for miles around and further forward they had entrenched themselves in the area between the rolling hills and the mountains. From the mountains waves of demons of all shapes of sizes poured forth. Giants stomped across the entrenched forces and paved the way for smaller demons, only to be brought down and pushed back after a while by the Seraphim. The demons rushed against the army like the inexhaustible ocean pounding against a cliff. "Scenes like this are happening all around these mountains." Cyril told them, "We're being spread thin and reports of demons beginning to spawn all across the world are coming in. Hundreds and millions have been estimated to have been killed and only a fraction of those are Seraphim. They refuse to been taken alive and refuse any talks. Their numbers must be unimaginable if they throw themselves at us with such abandon."

Artik clicked his Scouter, "Troops, descend on Heaven. Protocal 42. Repeat. 42. Hello? Dammit." He sighed, "Signal's jammed."

Makoto re-appeared with Riza and Rosentan. Riza sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "So what are we doing?"

Rosentan didn't feel like saying anything.

Ryuga walked over to rosentan, Riza, and makoto. "Long story short, the legions of hell, have busted hells gates wide open. Diablo 3 style." He said with a sigh lighting a cigarette. "I know I promised her I'd stop this, but its going to be that kind of day today." He said taking a drag and blowing out a cloud of smoke.

Cyril frowned. Artik sounded a lot like he had an invasion plan for Heaven. He filed that information away for later and greeted the newcomers. "Yeah, no transmitters or the like. We've essentially being yelling orders across the field for awhile now." To accentuate the statement Cyril cupped his hands around his mouth, "YO, JIM." A seraph rose into the air about mid way to the front line.
"WHAT?"
"TELL KIRK TO TAKE A FEW BATTALIONS TO NEW AVEN AND MAKE SURE THE MAJOR CITIES ARE PROTECTED. THEN TAKE SOME GOOD MEN AND EVACUATE EVERYONE INSIDE."
The Seraph named Jim gave a thumbs up, barely visible from their vantage point, and carried out the orders. Cyril turned to his group, "I'll be honest, I have no idea what's going on and neither does anyone else. The only place that could possibly have an answer is the Silver Palace library, and... well..." Cyril looked embarrassed. He pointed up at the moon which was now smoking, apparently on fire. "They sprouted out from nowhere and took that over."

Artik decided things would be more interesting there, so he flew off towards the Silver Palace.

Makoto, Ro, and Riza followed.

Ryuga followed behind them.
