Hello, Goodbye

"Hey look at the time, I think I've seen enough for today".

Artik held Zayn from leaving. "Riza. It was an accident. I never meant to kill him. Just, knock him out. But... he took the full blast, and..." Artik's face sunk. "And he dissolved from the universe." He paused, "but I'm trying to find a way to bring him back, something!" Artik sighed, "I.. I cared about Makoto, he was the brother I never had. We were usually close in power and in cunning. He was one of the few people, several years ago, whom I saw as an equal. I swear to you, Riza, to Makoto, that I will find a way."

Cyril remained silent.

Riza's expression softened a little. "Fine. I haven't forgiven you, not by a long shot. If you truly are going to search for a way then I will help. But I will not give you a second chance." Riza had calmed won, the emotional impact of his father being dead had not yet fully hit his mind.

Zayn was shock, to here that the lost son of Makato even existed in the first place.

Artik nodded, "Well, I may as well speak this to the three of you." He sighed, "Right, then. Our enemies are mo ing closer."

Cyril nodded. "Just about here in fact."

Riza crossed his arms with an impatient look. "So hold on. I have apparently been dead or something for a few years. So who the hell is he?" Makoto pointed to Cyril. "And what the hell is going on? Are we talking about Rava's or something else entirely?"

Zayn scratch his head "I'm confused what going on here". He look around, as everyone was being serious about this threat.

"Cyril, Riza. Riza, Cyril." Artik smiled glumly at Zayn. "There are dark forces at work. I fear they will see as a common threat and band together."

"Artik, there's no way we'll be able to stop them in our current state." Cyril remarked bluntly. "I hope you have some sort of convoluted plan to fix that." Cyril looked as if he had just had an epiphany. "No...wait... I may have one."

Zayn look at Cyril "and what might be it?".

Riza looked at Artik and Cyril skeptically. "So you think that a bunch of different villains are going to join forces? I have to say that I find it hard to believe that." Riza then noticed the royal insignia that Artik wore. "Hold on....why are you wearing that?"

Artik, for the first time, grinned at Cyril. "I always do." He blinked, "but what's yours?" He sighed, "It's the same reason I wear the crown, sit on the throne. Krageta and Zeus have disappeared. I am the last child born of Vegeta, Senior's Wife." He hated explaining this, "although it was a rebirth, at most and I hold no DNA, in the Saiyan customs, it means the same."

"I'll let you know what it is if it works." Cyril grinned.

Zayn Sat on the floor, he had no idea what anybody was talking about. He wonder to himself why he even here in the first place.

Riza stared at Artik for a few moments before he began to speak. "Artik I must ask you something. Do you think your any more fit to rule than Makoto was?" Riza leaned on a chair slightly as he continued to talk. "I'm not stupid, I know my father had tons of issues, but from what I am hearing now it seems you two have much in common. I don't know the exact details but from what I gather from what you have said, you murdered one of your own bloodline in a mindless rage." Riza spoke with nothing but a calculated tone that hinted at no anger or jealousy. "Also from the time that I have known you I have noticed that you aren't the most mentally stable individual. Seeing as how you constantly try to irritate people and randomly bring stuff into conversations."

Artik stared at Riza, unblinkingly, formulating what, exactly, to say next. He decided on, "I didn't plan on being king. But with Krageta gone, Makoto shunned, and don't get me started with Zeus, I had to step up and take the responsibility. I may not be the best fit, nor do I hold any illusions that I am, but Vegeta needed me. The Saiyans needed me. Need." He pause, "It's time to speak with the masses." He lead them to a balcony where the billion-something populace, mostly Saiyans, gathered. On the street, in the air, waiting for Artik. "My Saiyans. I am King Artik, leader of Vegeta and Saiyans! I must ask you all to move out, get in the Battleships, wait in orbit of the Planet Earth, over West City. Those who cannot fight will gather in the castle on the back of the catturtle in the sky. You will face an army of evil humans, they were the wicked of the world, and the evil grew. They are souless heathens, and they must be neutralized." Artik frowned at Cyril as the Saiyans cheered, knowing they would get to fight. "I'm sorry, Cyril. Think of it as a purge. Spring cleaning." Artik watched the ships fly off and the sick and the weak head towards Orren. "Now, we go off to war. Cyril, you and I will discuss next moves." He handed Riza a badge. "Riza, lead the Saiyan Army." He looked at Zayne. "My plan, unfortunately, will leave Vegeta relatively unguarded. You, Zayne, arenow a Vegetian knight. There are defense programs that I've put into place, but..." He smiled, giving him, an 'it's all up to you' look.

"The Ix will invariably arrive at Heaven as well as Earth." Cyril let the implications hang in the air. "I have a plan to protect it, but the science behind it is.... improbable. Perhaps a contingent of Saiyans would not go amiss?"

Artik pressed his scouter and muttered. A battalion of around a hundred footsoldiers appeared. "This enough?"

Zayn walks near the foot soldiers "I am willingly to fight too" he said, he was standing up straight saluting Artik.

Riza looked at Artik and refused the badge. "Artik you know that I am not the warrior that my father was. In fact with out my godlike powers I am next to useless." He then looked at the orange man with a gaze of impatience. "And also I never asked you why you became king. I asked you do you think that you are worthy of bearing the title."

Artik sighed, exasperated, "Fine! I think I can be king. Riza, you and Zayn defend Vegeta. Unless Cyril needs yoy."

"A hundred should be enough, you may go with the foot soldiers if you wish though." Cyril said absently. "As long I'm on the throne in the Silver Palace, Heaven will be easily defended. They will not send a massive force there." Cyril scratched his head and his space ship materialized behind him. "I'll be riiiiigghht back." Cyril entered and the spaceship disappeared. The spaceship soon reappeared and Cyril stepped out looking a bit ruffled. "Alright done. Interacting with your past self is rather tricky." Cyri rubbed his hands together. "So, strategy."

Artik materialized the TARDIS. "We get the hell off of Vegeta and wait for the trap to be sprung." He opened the TARDIS, "Well, come on, then. Allons-y!" He blinked, "huh?"
